It's the little things, not perfection!

Never been perfect. Never. Kinda a hope I never will be. Need to have some kind of challenge, you know? That is what makes life interesting, taking on challenges, sometimes failing and, when I really dig in, often successful.
So yesterdayI boomeranged (is that a word?) way, way off track... bad eating, no exercise at all.
Today I am back, nearly drank all my 8 glasses of water, 80 min. of exercise and was happy when I got a charly horse because that means I was actually doing something!
Here's my self talk: remember how fast muscle disappeared after the accident? How hard it was to balance? Watching and copying other people to remember how to walk and set my heel down? These are things I had taken for granted. Never a second thought. Now I know, exercise means freedom. It is a gift to have a body that heals and can exercise.
I am not perfect at it. But it is the little things done repeatedly make the biggest change.
