It’s Monday once again! Time for another Motivational Monday infusion to use as our catalyst for the week in increasing our endorphins, our feel good hormones, that will keep us going to move ourselves ahead closer to our goals. It’s our opportunity to pump ourselves up so we are mentally ready to face the week ahead.
I want you to begin today, and over the course of the next month, by stepping up every day, and giving yourself one reason to be proud of yourself. Give yourself the same loving support you give your family and friends. If you can find more than one - even better! This gives you real, concrete evidence of the wonderful and positve person you are, and what you have been doing that's good for you. This goes a long way in fueling our minds and ourselves with what we need to stay the course toward reaching our goals.
You can be proud of yourself for :
Being a good friend.
Doing the best you can, with what you have, no matter what the circumstances are, or have been.
For not giving up.
For making a good decision.
For every step, no matter how small, toward who you want to be.
And remember - this is no small thing!
For doing something you don’t feel like doing.
Of your unique strengths.
For following your heart
For making a difference in one small way
Being grateful and happy
For choosing to grow
For being honest with yourself
For forgiving others and yourself
If you take a moment once in awhile to notice all the little things you do that make you so special, you will stop being so hard on yourself, and that would be a very good thing indeed!
