Catch up on Goals

Sunday, February 14, 2021

I am still up and down on my goals but working them more than not now - which is HUGE!

I have started to see a little change in my weight and I've moved back into the 150s. I still have a long way to go but am focusing on my goals as that'll get me there.

I have started planning again and cooking..... ALOT!
If you have not heard of Skinnytaste.com, check out the website. They have many recipes and all I've tried are delicious. I even bought one of her cookbooks as I don't like to keep printing recipes because then I can't find what I'm looking for.

I am still very active. Working out pretty much each day. I participated in a virtual fitness weekend at the end of January. That was fun and the workouts were good. I got a lot from the health & nutrition sessions.

Weather here is cold with more snow coming. I am trying not to worry/think about it as I don't need to go anywhere since I'm working remotely. Although I am forcing myself to get out of the house a few times a week - even if just for a drive - for my sanity.

This week I will continue to track my food and stay in my calorie range and drink my water.

Have a good week!

Sounds like you got a little spring in your step, I'm happy for you because I'm sick of the snow warnings, especially last week and this week already. Geesh... lol

Way to go. i am the same, up and down. Thank you for suggesting the website. I think I looked into that before. Love that you are logging. That seems to be key. I am not thinking right enough. I think, not big deal, you can hav that mini bar, rather than... hey, do you really need that right now. How about you drink some water.

Love that you put forth the effort to do the virtual fitness weekend. That is too cool. And way to go to invest in you getting that cookbook. I have been thinking of getting "The 365 Days Of Pressure Cooking Cookbook". I just don't use my instant pot that much but should.

Anyway, keep up the great work. You got this!!!

Thank you for sharing the website.

Since February 1, we have had so much snow and cold weather. I also stay home a lot, but yesterday I was running around shopping for Valentine's dinner, and it was actually very rewarding. I get my second Covid vaccine tomorrow, and they are forecasting ice. I think it will be ok (worst will come at night), but I really have to try to get it, and Tuesday will be worse. Feel very fortunate to have gotten the vaccine. Old age has some benefits.

I will have to check out that site. I am fairly sure I have one of her cookbooks. I am cooking more too but still eating too much. This weather and covid avoidance have done us both in here. Not able to get outside much so exercise is spotty. We also go for short rides. Congratulations on the weight loss!
