Valentine's and Winter Weather!!

Yesterday I didn't come on because it was Valentine's Day and I just focus on my hubby😊

The weather was cold and very wet yesterday so we couldn't go to my favorite restaurant, so my hubby cooked instead, grilled salmon, grilled shrimp, broccoli pasta, with cheddar bay biscuits. Can't forget his homemade peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream( yes I ate without watching my calories🙃) it was love day.

He also got me some roses, balloons and a beautiful necklace. The card was so romantic, he really spoke from his heart, it was the best gift out of everything ❤❤❤

Now today the weather is too much for us Louisiana people, we are not use to this and it's so scary. Alot of cars stuck in the streets, big trucks can't make it over the hills on the tracks, the snow is so bright it's blinding to look at. Went to work but had to leave early because of the weather but I got to say it, regardless I am grateful for this unusual snow day. I'm thankful that the Lord has Bless us to see this day. Today I also found out that a long time friend of the family was found in her home died this morning, no one had seen her for days, it so heart breaking 😪😪she was truly a Saint of the Lord.

Now that I'm off, I'll get my walking in and relax the rest of the day.
