Plants are resilient and new buds mean the next batch of flowers are coming soon!

Gosh, I hate when snow falls on my spring blooms, so I know just how you are feeling over your poor flowers! I hope they are hearty enough to withstand it. Snowman is very, very cute!

I feel very badly for the Texans that were hit so hard. We've had a couple of bad storms our way over the years: Blizzard of 77 and the October 2006 storm that knocked the power out for a couple of weeks, but at no time was the water unsafe or pipes frozen. I can't even imagine. And WNY has lots of snow removal equipment. I hope and pray Texans will get the emergency supplies and funding that they need to help them recover from this. emoticon
