Oolong to the Rescue!

I am working on breaking really bad habits. One of which I developed over the holidays and it lasted through about last week. Around 3:30 or 4:00 I'd head into our TV room with my "snacks". Which meant with the intent to binge. I felt compelled to eat and when I ran out, I'd go in the kitchen and find "just a bit more". It was my refuge, my place to forget about all the bad and stressful things that were going on in the world and with life I general.
When I finally decided that my health was important, that I didn't want to regain all the weight I had lost, I made that room off limits. And for now there is a "no snacking" rule in place. But today at 3:30... I felt denying that urge would just make things worse so I decided to have some tea. I had a nice oolong loose leaf in my tea supplies which hit the spot and I was able to keep my promises to myself. Whew!
