Update: Low carb

I am no longer doing strict keto. I did it for about 3 weeks and it was hard. My husband and I like to blow off steam on the weekend by having a few beers, and missing that was just driving me nuts. So I decided to just eat low carb all week and have my beers on the weekend and see how that goes. So far so good! My weight is down and I am now almost out of the 180s! I was stuck in the 190s for a good while and I had become discouraged. I really started putting effort into losing weight around this past Thanksgiving. Right now I am 16 down and making progress! I love doing low carb! It is helping a lot! I get to eat good foods still and I get to see the scale move in the direction that I have needed it to go for so long. I am happy. I need to up my exercise, but lately I have been busy with homeschool and some home renovation that I have been doing. I get some exercise in once in awhile, but I need to be more consistant. I will work on that. Anyways, I am going in the direction that I want to be going in and that makes me happy! emoticon
