Wowzers, I've lost track of what week it is for my migraine! 8? 9? I have no clue honestly. I'll have to go back and track through my last blog. Sigh. But the good news is that most of the time it is down to a regular headache level. But still, imagine having a constant headache. All. The. Time. It gets old, let me tell you. I'm tired all the time, it is super sensitive. And toward the end of the day it spikes to more severe pain. And it spikes at random times. Not fun. But, this is much better than it was, so I don't mean to complain! I'll take this over what it was, any day!! This is much more manageable!
So my last 2nd opinion fell through, we are on 2nd opinion #3!! The last one was to a specialist on accident! Oops! They don't see migraines unless you have a certain problem on top of that. So, off to another neurologist, and this time they called ahead to make sure he would see me. Yes, he will. Yay! Whew!
I'm actually surprised my migraine is not worse, I've got a lot of stress going on right now, won't go into it, but most of the time when I've got a lot of stress going on, I get migraines. So, I must be handling it pretty well. Yay me. LOL!
I've realize that with all the medical stuff I've had going on... I've not been able to work out in what... 4 months now? That is missing out on a lot! I'm surprised I've not gained a lot of weight! But I've lost a lot of muscle tone.. and I can feel it. I've lost a lot of stamina too. And now that my migraine is down where I am at least tolerating it decently in the mornings, I'm going to start walking. Maybe not outside where there is a lot of noise, or maybe I will, just with noise canceling headphones on. I do like the fresh air. I'll have to try and see what works best. But I'm going to start walking 5-10 minutes at a time again, several times a day (at least in the morning) to get my stamina slowly built back up. I feel worse than a couch potato! I know I could not have gotten any kind of work out with my head feeling like it did.. and sometimes does, but I do not like how weakened my body feels now.
I'll have to take it day by day and see what I'm able to handle with how my head is feeling. Hopefully I'll get in to see the new neurologist and he/she can come up with a solution for whatever is making my head hurt. Then I'll be able to slowly start working out again, more than just the little bit I'm going to start doing tomorrow. Maybe I'll get a short walk in today. The wonderful thing about it hurting a little less is that I can listen to a little bit of music every now and then! I have missed music so much! Sometimes, it is the little things!
Hope you all are doing well and staying safe!
Edited to add - I won't be walking outside with noise canceling headphone, after y'alls comments, I realized that was a safety no! So I'll be walking on the treadmill with my headphones and listening to Audible as I can. Or if it is quiet enough outside, I'll go for a quick walk around the neighborhood.
