I am so excited that the weather has finally started to get warm! But with warmer weather comes more work. We have chickens, ducks, rabbits and once a year we raise a pig. We have a little over 3 acres to maintain. I also homeschool my 2 boys, have 3 dogs, and am working to start a garden about 4 times as big as the one I've had the past 2 years. It's 44 by 16ft. Thankfully we put up a greenhouse nearby which will make things a little easier.
I've struggled with energy levels for a long time, moreso when I am STRESSED. However I am discovering that eating MORE OFTEN has actually helped with maintaining my energy throughout the day. I've had to adapt a slower and steady pace which gets frustrating since I used to be on the go -fast paced when I got going- trying to get as much done as possible. Last year I fell outside doing yard work & broke my ankle. Since then it's been a rough road & I'm much more cautious out in the yard watching for holes. We have a hilly yard & being in the country there's all kinds of critters around, mole & mice holes & the dogs feel the need to dig them out 🙄 plus we live in sinkhole country.. they can be hard to see once the grass grows up.
I have been trying to balance indoor & outdoor work and I am grateful my boys are big enough to really be helpful. Steps are averaging out ok , diet going well and although I put on 3 lbs the week before last, I was able to lose it last week. Hopefully the downward trend continues!
