Beware of Salt on Friday

I'm no doctor and am not giving medical advice here, just " weigh in" advice.
Last Friday we had a salty takeout dinner which I welcomed at the time for the "ease" of preparation. But Saturday morning, was I surprised when I weighed close to two pounds more than the Saturday before or even the day before!
Sunday was a relief though. I had "lost" two pounds.
I am going to watch my salt intake on Fridays and maybe I had better watch my salt intake on other days, too. Our bodies do need some salt, so the old motto "everything in moderation" might be the answer here.
