just sayin’ … mixed messages

First off … I can eat pizza when ever I want to, when I am physically hungry, eat s-l-o-w-l-y, enjoy every bite and stop when I am comfortably full.

No foods are off limits. Diet is not in my vocabulary. Nourishment … wink, wink Jeanknee and Slenderella.

I find that if I tell myself, I can’t have something … I gorge on it when I do “allow” myself to eat it.

The last two days have been rough coming back off the tonnage of sugar.

And it was tough yesterday walking on my treadmill … but I did it.

My whole body ached from the activity.

And my whole heart ached from missing BFF Sharon. We had gotten into a routine of me talking to her on the phone while I walked. She said it was like she was benefiting from my exercising.

We were two over fluffy ladies … too set in our evil ways.

Change your mind … and the rest WILL follow.

    Nourishment and nurture and nothing off the table (in moderation) yes yes yes!!

    My DH has decided he will no longer be having sugar in his coffee (what he called "one and a half teaspoons" but was a heaping whole lot more!!!). But, ya know, you can taper down slowly on the sugar if cold turkey feels too brutal . . . AND you can gear up slowly on the treadmill, no need to put yourself into a state of body aching when your heart is breaking! I am so sorry sorry sorry for your loss. Wonderful to have had a friend like that, cackling together over your evil ways . . . and such grief feels just unbearable but we feel all the feelings. We feel 'em all. Just as you felt the little arms of your grandkids around your neck.

    I am totally on your team with ixnay on the forbidden foods!
    I can eat whatever I want...I amsmart enough to eat one slice or a kiddie cone...occasionally...and enjoying them.
    Grief is so hard...cry all you hugs from dh help?
    If not...I will message you me phone number and we can cry together while u tell me about Sharon.

    I try not to use that word "DIET" as I will overindulge! that word makes me want the food even more and don't even get me started on pizza LOL

    Agree . . . the word diet bring out the rebel in me, so nourishment it is.

    Good for you doing the treadmill. It will get better.
