Try never to judge

Monday, May 17, 2021

Though I am not a Christian - at least not in the way the word Christian is usually used - I liked this and thought I'd share it...

"Try never to judge. The human mind is so delicate and so complex that only its Maker can know it wholly. Each mind is so different, actuated by such different motives, controlled by such different circumstances, influenced by such different sufferings; you cannot know all the influences that have gone to make up a personality. Therefore, it is impossible for you to judge wholly that personality. But God knows that person wholly and He can change it. Leave to God the unraveling of the puzzles of personality. And leave it to God to teach you the proper understanding."
From the meditation book 'Twenty-Four Hours A Day.'

Excellent thinking and I'd like to extend this to trying not to harshly judge ourselves too! Too good at that unfortunately! love and hugs xx

So very true - we can never fully know another person, not even those who are closest to us.

I always figure I have something to learn from everyone. Leaving things to something/someone I don't believe in will not help me at all. I just try to come from a balanced place.

For all the reasons stated, we don't have a right to be judgmental.

Agreee w/2B. We won't like everyone and everyone won't like us. That's ok. BUT we still have to be respectful.

Not a good idea to judge others, For we can only see one pc of the puzzle. Although, there are bible scriptures that tell us to discern.... So we are expected to observe and choose wisely. Not everyone I meet is going to be a friend. But either way, I will be polite.

We don’t always have what’s needed to make a fair judgement and as the Bible says, who are we to judge? emoticon emoticon emoticon
