Saturday, and a lovely morning

Saturday, June 19, 2021

Well here it is the weekend and I have no place to be. Well, at least not today. Tomorrow evening I guess we are invited down to DIL &SIL's for a cook out for Father's Day. Anyway, I think Sunday is Father's day, or I am a week late or a week early. Oh well, it will all get straighten out in the wash.

(It was such a nice morning, only about 75 so I took a nice walk down to the corner and back, a lot for me, but to some 3/4 of a mile is a cake walk, but when you have lung problems, that is quite an accomplishment. Away getting home and indulging in a cup of coffee, I went out and did all the flower watering. By then it was about time to figure out dinner. Make Larry little pizza burgers, and me, well I finished up some left over in the refrig. a cup of carrots & beans, some Tuna pasta salad, and finished it with a small bowl of unsweetened applesauce. So calorie wise I should be okay, for what is for supper. Fixing baked chicken, mine will be over Wild Rice, and hubby's will be over mashed seasoned potatoes, and a what-ever veggie I pull out of the freezer.) (Copied from comment on RAERAERAE Blog.) Yes thought I would take a short cut and not try to remember what I had wrote to you cause it wrapped up my morning.

I sure feel like I could take a nap, but I know the minute I lay my back in this chair, my eyes will pop open and that will be that. So as I write this I have some spook movie on that I am going to have to tape as writing and trying to keep up what is going on there is impossible as tire as I am. But I do so want to finish up all the emails and such.

Beings it was cooler this morning I opened the door up to the 3 season patio and let Kenney, short for Kendell. and Shorty, the 2 house cats, out there for an adventure, haven't seen them since, so must be enjoying a new old stop. Kenney, (girl) usually goes and takes a nap on top of the folded lawn chairs, and Shorty, the boy, usually sleeps under her on the steps in front of the sliding glass door to our bedroom. He has twisted leg sysdrome in his back legs so there is no way for him to jump, but that doesn't slow him down at all. He can tear through the house faster than diva Kenney. They are quite the pair of rescue kits.

Well, better fly, as I have a lot of emails to take care of. Take care and have a GET day. Linda
