Today was a really productive day! Er, kind of. The title says otherwise. It's true, my toddler has been demanding and wanting constant attention making it hard to get any errands or work done. Despite this, I managed to slip in a bit of productivity. This morning I woke up early to get in a quick workout. I wasn't feeling the elliptical today and it was super foggy and high humidity outside so I decided to work out indoors. I turned on my music and a workout video!
Didn't feel quite as sore this time so felt like I didn't burn as many calories but I was sweaty after! Tomorrow I'll do either elliptical or a walk. We'll see. Hopefully, I'm not as sore tomorrow morning! I went for about an hour and then the baby awoke. She has been demanding since. I could barely finish any work and have a pile of laundry still waiting to be folded. Probably going to tackle that next since I finally got baby girl settled down. phew!
Breakfast was zero calorie tea, 100 cal pudding cup, and a couple of bites of my kids' eggs I made. I scrambled them and didn't make a plate for me on purpose. My kids never finish them so I'll eat a few bites. It was hard not to eat all of their leftovers but I managed to put them away.
By lunchtime, I was starving!
Hubby showed up to eat lunch at home with me. That was nice. He also made me a veggie drink again. It's always hard for me at first because it looks gross, but once I taste it, it's good!
The Cesar salad is from Wendys. I didn't use the croutons/cheese. I restrained myself to only use half the dressing as well.
So overall I've done great so far. I always save more calories for dinner. I have a good amount. I'm making teriyaki salmon with broccoli and a half cup of rice.
So, despite the craziness, I call this a productive day! Taking things 1 day at a time is helping a lot. Having 3 kids really fills the day. Plus housework, plus online work, plus any free time I can squeeze in..
Hope your Tuesday is going great!
