Its been 7 months since i joined spark i do not feel that i have applied myself at all not like i could. I have however been educating my self reading post, health articles. My health has not been well living on pain Med's because of the back pain. So i am starting over I can do this.

Bought my exercise bike with my smoke money on Sunday. My plan is to ride the bike when i have a craving for a smoke. I rode the bike for 5 min seemed like an hour, way out of shape and out of oxygen. I have chest pains today actually feel like i am going to die with my asthma acting up and being short of breath , the chest pains and legs feel weak. I also feel like a basket case but i know if i get setting goals and working out even if only a few minutes at a time i get in better health and better shape and be able to claim my life back.

I am sort of a new comer still, but I haven't done too well either. Anything one has to do, has to start with a baby step. It can be done; just don't give up. My problem is I feel it's hopeless too, because I have smoked for several years and want to quit and try to get a little healthier. My doctor said to start with 5 minutes on my exercise bike or walking. After one hasn't done exercise for a very long time, one can't expect to run a marathon the first time out. Just don't give up; it can be done.
