Because I just reached a year of maintaining my goal weight, I'm still a bit gun shy of letting it go too long. It's not usually daily, but AT least every other day.

Am working toward a weekly weigh-in when I get enough confidence that I won't mess up my maintenance!

I weigh in daily - I find if I am not weighing in daily it is probably because I am off track with my food intake - getting that daily weigh-in keeps me accountable. I also use the Happy Scale app to track - I love the predictions!

Daily which i record on the Happy Scale app. I also am in the habit of weighing myself both first thing in the morning and right before bed.

However, my official weigh in day for SP is Saturday. Strangely enough, weighing myself daily (both morning and evening) has actually helped me relax about my ups and downs. I'm able to notice trends.

Short term goals:

1. Drink 10-13 cups of water per day
2. Record all food eaten each day (even when I go over!).
3. Lose 10% of starting weight--REACHED GOAL on 12/12/20
4. Lose 15% of starting weight (175.1 lbs)
5. Current BMI 32.8 down from a starting BMI of 36.5


Move from obese to overweight (BMI) when I get to 168 lbs.

what I found when I did weekly was : If I ate a little later at night or some water fluctuation on the weigh in day my weight showed up more . That led to demotivation because in a week weight would show up and not down.

So tracking daily now .if there is a sudden jump I am not too worried and after tracking daily for 2 months I feel something amiss if I dont track daily -no drastic emotions and always try to course correct if I see weight increase for 3 to 4 days continuously.

I have the same routine as you because I have heart failure problems and have to be on a very low salt diet. I weight myself every day and if I gain 3 or more pounds over night I have to go on the rescue plan my doctor gave me. She is especially concerned because I retain in my upper body. I know it immediately if I have too much salt. I had been with spark people for several years and attained my first goal, then set another one but although I haven't gained any back, I have lost very little of my second goal, so I gave up trying for a number of years, but am back on spark people to try again, but everything seems so different, I couldn't even figure out how to enter the food I eat. I followed the directions but nothing appears on the chart.

I weigh daily most of the time. It helps me keep on track and because I have congestive heart failure it also helps me keep an eye on if I am gaining water weight. I don't usually stress over a couple pounds but like to keep an eye on which direction I am going or if there is a jump of more than a pound or two upwards, which can be a warning sign for me.
