About 181-182 lbs. Very grateful about it.

I was able to decrease my food intake, I'm OK now, got used to it. I only eat twice a day most of the time.

I have my first meal around 11-12, so almost lunch time. I do it every day now. Again, got used to it. Not so difficult actually. I keep busy in the morning and don't think about eating.

Regarding exercise, I walk daily outside (in the forest) quite early in the morning. I'm usually back home around 8:00 am. Then I do some stretching, Pilates usually. But not every day. Walking = yes daily. Stretching = not quite daily.

Regarding meditation: yes = twice a day. I increased the time for each meditation. Around 30-40 min./each session. Twice a day.

Extra: Praying 2-3 times a day (2 min) for healing of the world. Something like wishing for peace and harmony. I just keep it simple, it takes me 2 min to do it.

Yoga before meditations: yes = daily for about 10-15 min in the morning and again in the evening.

Diet = the same since November last year. Got so used to eating like this, don't think about it anymore.

Mental state: calm, balanced, positive, one day at a time. Very little interaction on social media (less than 30 min/day). Not reading or watching the news daily, I do it about twice a week, only the basics. In 10 min I'm done. Not interested in the craziness/circus. Just want to keep a cosmic perspective, and keep my peace of mind intact. The most important for me.

Hobbies: yes, each day. Cooking all the meals, experimenting a lot. I don't own any cooking books. I like to invent or use the internet or my grandmother's old and simple recipes. Knitting daily. Reading daily. Cleaning/organizing something around the house daily (love it, it relaxes me). Playing with my cat. Growing a garden on the balcony etc.

Maintaining for now, not bad! I'm OK with it.

Diet is great, no problem following it. Working out part was ... a little harder to achieve the last 2 weeks. I walked a lot outside (with my husband or alone), also no break from yoga in the morning. But it's not enough. I can feel my mobility going down so...I'll make an effort to improve on this part.

Pilates this afternoon, 30 min. Tomorrow work out with weights 30 min.

On the other hand, I'm doing good with less food. Got used to it. I'll introduce a 1/2 day of fasting (water fasting until lunch, so no breakfast that day) one day a week. And then, I'll make it one whole day or fasting one day a week. I used to do that in the past, a few years ago, to fast for one day/week and 3 days in a row once a month. I did it for 6 months I think, or 5, I don't remember anymore. Was nice. Hard in the beginning but loved it in the end. Increases one's will power, for sure. I did the fasting not with water but with orange juice. Fresh, organic, freshly squeezed by my hands from organic oranges. And I also drank water during the day. I had much more energy while doing the fasts, loved them.

186 today.

Doing good, feeling good. I'm busy with my balcony garden, it's growing, so lovely. Tomatoes, oregano, parsley, chives, green union, celery green, cilantro, rosemary, basil. And then my regular flowers, plus some new sage, just because I love the smell. So lovely.

I'll plant salad, dill and more celery green this/and next week.

Doing good, continue with the same diet, no cheating. Almost 6 months now.

IF 18:6 and only two meals/day. For now I like it. No more breakfast in the morning and less food the rest of the day. Feeling good, hopping to get rid of the extra pounds in about 6 months.

I'm actually preparing mentally for the following years. I'm expecting increase in food prices so I'll spend more money on food. I just want to be ready and prepared for eating less in the future.

I've been through this for decades (in the past ,during communism) so I know that this is something that can be achieved. I just need a little practice and then I'll get used to it.

I've been on this diet for almost 5 months. No cheating. I sleep very well, I'm feeling great.

Today: 197 lbs.

My Program:

- No processed food, very very low carbs, mindful eating, no wheat, no grains, no gluten, no dairy, no alcohol, no red meat, no soy, no sugar;
- IF 15:9 daily;
- 3 meals a day, no snacking (rarely).
- meditation twice a day.
I also work out 3 - 4 times a week: weights or cardio or QiGong or Callanetics, Pilates, hiking, walking outside + 10 min. Yoga/daily in the morning.

I'm doing great, I lost 7 lbs in the last 2 months.

Did:

- Paleo Diet + Intuitive Eating (I'm working on it);
- almost daily exercise 20-30 min. mostly with weights, once or twice a week Pilates, plus yoga daily (twice a day 10 min each);
- meditation (twice a day);
- proper sleep (8 h. a night);
- good hydration (good quality water);
- less food, 1200 cal/day most of the days. During the weekend about 1400 cal/day.

I introduced some healthy carbs almost every day and as a consequence I started to sleep very well. And I lost weight! Also, I continued to lift weights about twice a week for aprox. 30 min a session.

I'll continue with IF 16:8 and I will also do yoga daily for about 10-15 min in the morning.

Doing good so far. Now I have a different approach: to be healthy, to sleep well, no processed food, meditation daily, exercise and hobbies. Hopefully I'll get rid of the extra weight in time.

I started to work out, do aerobic, lift weights etc. and ...as usual, I gained a few pounds. This happens to me every time I start working out. My diet is good, 1200 cal/day and very low-carbs + IF 16:8.

Hopefully I'll start losing in the near future.

OK, I'll start with small steps. Christmas is gone now, I'm done with the full fridge.

My first week is going to be a week with very low carbs and higher fat, clean eating no process food + minimum 15 min yoga daily. Today is my first day.

I'm doing my best not to gain anymore until Jan. 1st. It's hard not to overeat when you're surrounded by tempting food. Today I'll go for a hike in the mountains, hopefully this is going to help me relax a little and burn some calories too. Plus, I made vegetable soup and I love it. I'm going to make some guacamole for breakfast, bake a whole wheat bread for it and prepare another spread made of: feta cheese, Greek yogurt, fresh dill and red peppers.

Hi everyone,

I'm opening this journal in order to motivate myself to lose weight. I'm 5'8 and 1/2, female and 49 years young.

I started at 207 lbs in July 2018. Now I'm 200 lbs and my target is 165 lbs. Hopefully I'll reach my target next year around my birthday (towards the end of October). I'll be 50 and I don't want to enter my 50's being overweight.

I follow:

- no processed food, more like a nutritarian Paleo diet but with meat occasionally not daily;
- eat mindfully;
- no alcohol, limited sugar, no read meat;
- IF 16:8 or a smaller window of eating when I can;
- work out 3-4 days/week, sometimes lift weights, other times do aerobic, Pilates, QiGong or Yoga (with Kassandra - see youtube);
- 10 min. in the morning - yoga for energization more like stretching - followed by a short meditation (my daily mental shower);
- I use positive affirmations ( for example: "I'm losing weight!") and no negative talk during the day.

This is my plan and until my birthday there are aprox. 44 more weeks. So, let's get started.

Week # 44 - 200 lbs and 35.4 inches waist.
