If somebody was holding my wife hostage and threatening to harm her if I didn't come up with $300 and I was broke I would probably do it, but a lot would depend on which wife it was.

I personally never got one, but from what I heard is that they charge a ton of interest %. I would say I think they help if you are desperate but if you can go another route for money I would go another way. A pay day loan would be my last resort. My 2 cents.
