Thank you! I'm already experiencing some challenges (which are expected and discussed with a doc). I'm going to stick to my fast break plans though, because it will feel good to have accomplished these promises to myself even if I have to calm down my exercise routine temporarily.

I was a member for years, and super active both here and out in the world. I was in the best shape of my life in my thirties and early forties. Then, my body started suffering from several health issues that required that I basically didn't move during the most active stages of the disease. Then, I was in a car wreck. I had to use mobility aides for years. My life was made up of doc appointments, being prodded by specialists, surgery, physical therapy, and loss of a lot (like my business).
I think a part of me was so frustrated about not being at the level that I used to be, that I just gave up. I thought, "This is my life now."

The other day, I'm not sure what changed. I just wanted MORE. I know that I can never be the extremely pretty little sporty spice that effortlessly did things like run, but I can experience more freedom and health than I have right now.

So, my journey has a lot of gunk to clear. I'm trying to set fast breaks that are reasonable. So far, I've chosen to avoid social media for an hour a day, eat at least one piece of produce a day, and stretch for 5 minutes. I can do that, even if movement is hard. If you, like me, find yourself with some pretty rough obstacles and BIG emotions, and really need another cheerleader to support the attainable victories...let's buddy up and help each other.
