Perhaps I can help since I am a certified personal trainer. I have connections to West St Paul since my partner lives on Ottawa just south of Annapolis. She works out at home under my guidance using minimal equipment.

Since the loss of body fat is based on nutrition and not exercise keeping a food journal would be a first step to resolving the problem by ascertaining what it may be. I am a strong advocate of strength training and a bit of a minimalist when it comes to cardio especially for fat loss.

Hello all. My name is Theresa. I live in West St. Paul. I joined SparkPeople in the middle of Jan 2010. I've finally had enough of my stomach. I want those washboard abs. I'm a size 5 but my stomach is as big as my chest and its driving me nuts. My chest is not small so I want the stomach to go. I've tried everything. I originally was a size 14 before sparkpeople and did walking for over 3 years and got to the size 5. I started off with crunchies when starting sparkpeople, got down to 116 from the 122 I started with. Now stuck. I switched up to training for a 5k with strength training and no budge in the scale or noticing it on my body. This week I added in new you bootcamp videos by coach nicole every day this week and not a thing. I've been getting at least 5 fruits/veggies a day and getting my 8 glasses of water in a day. Could use some suggestions, help, or a buddy in west st. paul. Any help or suggestions will be considered at this point. :)
