hello BLUJNSNPRLS
Welcome. Glad you are here. I have been away for a while (forgetting to come to the SP page and the team message boards).

But Happy Easter, time for a fresh start!

Looks like DEBSGTNDOWN has me beat by one pound. I may beat her though since I had bariatric surgery back in December and am averaging about 4-lb./week losses.

The Spark bariatric boards are essentially dormant, and I don't have the ambition to re-ignite them. I want someone to help me celebrate my accomplishment of hitting OneDerLand when it happens.

My big accomplishment this week is finally weighing LESS than my 7-inches-taller husband.

Oh my goodness. I'm just back on spark after being away it looks like 7 years! I hit Onederland once or twice in the past, and now I'm on that journey again. I have 13 pounds to go as of last Friday to hit 199. I think I can... I think I can...

emoticon Em. I hear where you are coming from! I am struggling not to go back to the 200's. Been off track for over a week. emoticon I am afraid to get on the scale and see the damage I did. When your teetering between Onederville and the 200's it's so easy to go back. Anyway I picked myself up and back on track as of today. Wishing you the best on your weight loss journey!

I have been on SP for 10 years. Still haven't met
my weight goals I also need a push, it seems so far
away. My first "goal" is to be under 200lb. My doctor
told me he would be happy if I get under 200. Lots
of medical issues and meds that makes losing a
big problem

I am down 10 lb down from April and I want to finish
up the first goal. 27 lb. to go.

Hello, my name is Latisha and I just re-joined this team because I am determined to make it into the 190's! Honestly, I feel like I just keep losing the same 5 to 10 pounds. I want to lose this weight for good and see 190! With your help, I know I can do it. I have been writing a lot in my journal lately and then I started my own blog called Renew Inspiration. Writing gives me a positive outlet instead of eating all the time. www.renewinspiration.com

Hi, My name is Charles. I'm 6'0",200 pound guy. Hoping to be out of my 200's next weigh in. I don't really have a weight goal but a size goal. Presently my pants size is a 34x32 and my shirt size is a large. My goal size is to be a 31x32 and have my shirt size a medium.

I'm back again. I started an online master's degree last year (2 more years to go) and it really took a toll on my health. Eating habits - poor, exercise- just my 30 min walk with the dog every AM. We both gained quite a bit of weight. I just used the calculator on the goal page and discovered I can loose a little more than 20 lbs by Christmas! Now to get some plans in place to make it happen.

Couldn't believe it when I was almost 300 pounds in 2010 after 3 kids and online college (a lot of sitting). Started with SP and got to 210. Life happened and was back to 265 by Aug 2016. Now I go up and down between 215 and 200. I am ready to get back below 200 for the first time in over 25 years and be able to do things I've struggled with all my life (like pushups and running). Let's do this!

I haven't been in my 200's (besides my pregnancy in 2012) since 2005! I cannot believe I am back up here. I am going to just focus on losing these 15 pounds to get back into my 190's and then just take it 10 pounds at a time until I am back into my 130/140's, which is where I was in 2009.

Hi! New to this team although I have done SP off and on for several years. I recommitted late last year to getting myself down to a healthy weight. My experience is that the more active I am on the SP teams the more inspired and motivated I am.
Looking for friends on an active team to keep my Spark lit.

Hi there. I am 34 years old and have 149 lbs to lose to break the 200 mark. That seems like a lot, so my first goal is 50 lbs. My ultimate goal is 175 lbs lost. I'm losing weight to get pregnant.

This was the one thing I never wanted to see on the scale...lol...weighing in the 200 Ibs...lol...I found out that I weighed that much when me and my family started a weight loss challenge in December I do believe it was...i weighed in at 210 Ibs. At the time that was the biggest I ever weighed...I've always been off and on on my weightloss journey. I've been overweight since I was a kid. I'm now 36 years old.

Hi team! I was visiting LINZEE118 's SparkPage and saw this team, and thought I would join and give it a try. I've had it as a goal to get back under 200 pounds for a long time now. I've been on and off SparkPeople a few times. This latest time I rejoined after being diagnosed with diabetes, and I know this time I have to take it seriously. It's been going pretty well this time, and I've lost from 225 to 213. I would love to get to under 200, as I know my health would improve and I would feel better. This team seems more active than some, so I thought I'd jump in and get involved. Nice to meet everyone!

emoticon Everyone, I'm new. I made it to Onederland Last year in July. It only lasted a few days then it was all downhill from their emoticon I got on the scale after Easter & was shocked that it was up to 241 lbs! emoticon In 8 months I gained a little over 40 lbs. I said to myself, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I set a date to get back on track. Officially as of April 16th I've been back on track. I had a few minor slip ups but I'm hanging in their! So far I lost 23 lbs. Two more lbs. & I will be at my half way point with my weight loss. I would like to see Onederland by August if my body will cooperate! I promised myself once I leave Twoterville this time I am not coming back! emoticon emoticon

Hello everyone!

I am new to this challenge. I have used SparkPeople off and on for several years but have not been able to keep the weigh off. Until recently, I had a lot of instability and chaos in my life. However, I have made some changes to my personal life that have resulted in a much more consistent schedule and routine.

I began taking my weight loss goals seriously again on Easter when I stepped onto the scale at discovered I was weighing in at 233 pounds! EEK! Since then, I have been tracking my food more consistently and walking as frequently as possible.

As far as goals, I would like to begin incorporating some weight training into my routine. Additionally, I need to come up with some inside activities that I can do when the weather is not appropriate for walking. Any suggestions are welcome!

I am excited to begin meeting everyone!

I'm Vicki and I've been a member of sparkpeople off and on for the last 7-8 years. In that time I've managed to yo-yo myself up about 130 lbs. I'll lose some weight then get compliant and gain it back plus more. But now I'm starting to have health issues that wouldn't be as bad if I were at a smaller size.
My goal is to lose 73lbs. over the next 2 years.

Hello All! I'm Rebecca, joined sparkpeople 5 yrs ago but didn't stick with it. I had a baby at 40, graduated nursing school and have now become a full time working mom. I've also gained 40 lbs since 2008 and am at my heaviest weight ever. I really want to lose the weight and keep it off this time (I've lost 70 lbs twice and regained it). Looking for support from others who understand what it's like to be 200 + lbs!

Welcome, Sheila! It sounds like you are making some good positive changes! You are so close to your goal! What small change can you make, starting today, to give that weight loss a boost? Make one healthier choice, get up and move for an extra minute, ditch one small bad habit? You can do this!

Hi! I am Sheila.. New to the team but not to SP. However, I have not been consistent with the SP resources the past month, so I recently reset my account. When I started my lifestyle change due to being diagnosed with diabetes (August) I weighed 242 lbs... I am now down to 212. In the past month my weight loss has been very slow due to the fact that I am not consistent with counting calories, and walking. I am happy that I am still losing (and not gaining) but I am going to start trying much harder! only 13 lbs to go until ONEderland!!!!

Hello Everyone,

My name is Kim. I'm sitting at 260 pounds and have been having a hard time losing it! I joined Sparkpeople just 14 days ago and have started to make healthier choices and am feeling powerful. I have more energy now than I have in a very long time. So things are easy right now because I feel better about myself, but I know from past experience that things won't always be this easy. I hope that by joining this group we can support each other towards 1derland!!

Thanks!

Kim

Good Friday Morning Everyone. Was scrolling the teams and came across this one and new it was for me! I have recently returned to Spark. It has been a few (bad) years since I was here but I am back and ready to do this.

My name is Lori. I live in Las Vegas with my hubby and 2 dogs Zoey, a Rottweiler mix and Gemma a German Shepherd. I have been over 200 most of my adult life. I have tasted ONEderland and it was delicious. Want to go back, for good this time. Have 36lbs to get there. I look forward to the support of this team and being able to support and encourage all of you. emoticon

The struggle you're in today is developing the strenght you need for tomorrow.

(should have done this last month)

Hi, everyone!
My name is Selina. I'm a young mum trying to lose over 50 pounds. I want to do it gradually so that the pounds never come back. I enjoy walking so that is my most frequent exercise. I also enjoy aerobics, DVDs like Walk away the pounds, Zumba (sometimes)...
Like many of you, my goal is to reach Onederland and leave 200s forever. In order to do that I'm slowly changing my eating habits. Good luck to us all! emoticon

I'm retired, and mostly I do what I want. I volunteer with a couple of non-profits, and I work as a walking tour guide. I've been on a diet most of my life, and it never worked. At my highest I was 265 lbs (4 years ago). When a couple of medical problems were properly diagnosed, I was finally able to lose weight by eating healthy and moving. Two years ago I got to around 200 and started bouncing, and I would like to get off this trampoline!

Good day fellow sparkers!
I'm new to this group, and a "spark alumni ". Was here years ago, almost hit goal, then life happened and happened hard.
Anyway... HI! My name is Laurie, I'm in Florida and cannot WAIT to get below 200 again!

Hi there, I'm Toria

I'm new to this group, but not to Spark..

After kidding myself and not putting myself first (for a very very long time) I've recently had a wake up call that has prompted me to finally get my weight under control, once and for all.

I'm 33, currently back studying & I'm a mum to 3.. I'm wanting to start fertility treatment in 2016 so my partner and I can have another child - So I have about 66lbs to lose for that..

I have so many reasons to do this - I cannot fail..

Welcome to the team. I also had a panic at 203 and regained some. Let's kick the excess to the curb this time! emoticon

Hi,

I haven't been below 200 since starting SparkPeople 5 years ago. I got to 203 and panic set in so now I'm dusting myself off and starting over at 235

I felt like that when my "baby" started school. Time for Mommy to get busy on myself!

Great idea to change the name for motivation. Have you checked out the Motivation section of Articles & Videos tab at top of page? Have you added any new goals or motivators to your Start page? What are 3 things you can do today to motivate yourself?
