Hi Katharine!
I like you already as you are in AZ and I winter in Mesa, AZ. We have enjoyed it for the last 7 years. I certainly understand wanting to go from Chandler up to the Payson area if you are living there year round, We have friends that actually have a home in Mesa and go up to Payson in an RV resort for the summer.

I'm glad you and Roy have invested in a perfect 5th wheel for you. It's sounds like you are getting a lot of use of if. How are the temps in Chandler? When we left Mesa it was flirting with triple digit temps!

I understand what your are dealing with. We have a beautiful 38 ft Class A MH and our intention was always to full time. The year we retired, my DH has a massive heart attack with quadruple bypass surgery. I am happy to say he's recovered but it changed my mind about full timing. I do not drive our MH so I wanted a little more security when and if I am left alone. We ended up buying a double wide in a manufactured home park. We are here during summer months to spend time by family and friends. We leave and head out to Arizona for the winter months. Every one has to make their own decision but we are all ready to give you lots of answers to any questions you may have.

Welcome to the team. I have an elderly mom that needed lots of care a yr. ago. We have a mobile home in TX. and our camper which we travel with and spend the winters in TX. and summers in MN.in our home we are now cleaning out of excess. Still travel but stay available for mom if she is in need of us. When you decide, enjoy!! We love the National parks and State parks. Also us the Corp of engineer parks too.

Hi all!

DH and I have been kicking around going RV'ing full-time. We are both retired from the military and currently live on a small acreage. We grow corn and soybeans (and do a lot of mowing). Maintenance is getting to be a chore and we love to visit the national parks, etc., so we've been talking about buying an RV (probably a Class A or 5th Wheel) and getting rid of most our stuff and going on the road. We did it previously for 6 months in '95 and had a great time. This time around though we have 2 dogs and I have an elderly mom to worry about--so no RV yet, but major discussions are ahead! Thanks for the welcome to the team!
