Recently diagnosed with pre-diabetes. My numbers were juusst barely over the high normal but not good. So, back to Spark with a decade hiatus and new goals for watching what I eat. No more processed foods--those short cuts when I was tired and stressed have only added to my stress and waistline.

Slow but steady. I have never really succeeded in keeping weight off, but I also never really paid attention to how many extra sugars I was eating in processed foods. In retrospect, the foods I was eating even when trying to purchase "reduced fat" have so much more sugar than I realized. I have to pay attention to both.

Well, here I go again... emoticon
