Hello all,

I joined this group, because I was hoping to find others using the mobile apps. I have a Samsung and I use the web version of the app. I find it convenient yet quirky.

I know I am tracking more often on my phone than I was when I was just using the computer.

Hi I'm Myristyl, I have downloaded the sparks application for my droid. I have just started using it and I hope it will help me keep track while I'm away from my computer. I have put my name in to be co leader or leader..whichever happens. I see that the page is inactive. i am hoping to bring it back to life. If any of you are still out there let me know. Thanks :)

Hi, I'm Mary. I have a Blackberry Curve. I checked out the mobile site today but was a little disappointed. I'd like to be able to do more than it offers....at least track water!

Hi! I'm Renee' and new to the team but not to Sparkpeople. I recently purchased my 1st Blackberry and love it. The one thing I can say that I do not like about Sparkpeople mobile is that I cannot spin the wheel for my points. But other than that, it's cool! emoticon

I'm going on vacation and it will be great to not have to take my laptop!!!

Oh on the weight loss journey, I am aiming to lose 10 more lbs by July 30. I have lost 16-18lbs (fluctuating) since April 14th by cutting out white flour, white sugar, white rice, and corn. If you believe in the power of prayer, please say one for me.

Thanks,

Renee'

Today is your day! You are blessed and highly favored!

Greetings! I joined Sparkpeople in February 2009 and have been using it to track cardio and general fitness. The one thing that's been a drawback was the inability to track information while on the go, that is until I discovered the mobile site. As a software trainer and consultant, one would think that I am always online, but it seems I spend more time traveling from one client to another. At least now I am able to keep up with the tracking.

The thing I enjoy most is sharing what I learn with others and encouraging them to make the most of today's tech. I look forward to interacting more with this group.

Hi. Been with Sparkpeople for over a year and just added mobile web to my phone through Verizon (I have a Krave). I am having trouble logging on though so...guess I need to call tech support. But when I get it working right I hope that being able to access Spark anywhere makes it easier to stick to the plan.

Hi, I also have the iPhone 3G - the 16gb one, and am hoping to be more accountable on SP having the flexibility to at least post water, fitness, and food choices. I like that it pulls in my "favorites" so I'm trying to be on here more often to make sure I update the nutritional info of foods that I've tried and eaten (I don't usually do the meal plan, for a variety of reasons, err umm excuses... ;-(

I gave my old Cingular/HTC 8125 to my husband to use/play with, such as he can without also subscribing to the data plan, so I thought it was interesting, someone mentioned testing on the Tilt and the 8125 (which is an older version, I think has already been pulled off the market here locally!). So not sure if he can just download it onto his card and sync it that way, or if he'd still have to have the data plan since he does not have that (no web or email access, other then reading all my old letters!).

Anyway, I noticed I was putting in fitness minutes on my iPhone but when I came to check here on SP on my PC, the minutes last week were "not there". I just left a message about that to Dave-The-SP-iPhone-Guru and will wait for that.

Now I just need a cattle prod to get my rear off the computer and out for a walk on this cruddy cloudy Wichita day...heh.

Hi All,

I am new to the team but not to Sparkpeople and I am so excited about being able to use Sparkpeople Mobile on my iPhone. I just saw the message about it and haven't really used it yet but I am looking forward to testing it out. Yeah Sparkpeople!

I love the potential of having mobile SP and this innovative team to help make it the best it can be. That's why I'm here, to be the best I can be.

I don't have a background in computers except for enjoying the multiple paths the journey of technology takes me.

I will add my perspective as a user, what works for me, and learn from other's lessons.

Great to see you guys - how fun! Congrats Shierry on no smoking, that is quite an accomplishment. Prayers too for your upcoming challenges.

A professional software tester too - fantastic.

I use a HTC 6800 and mobile site works great. Thought I saw a post on this team from another Blackberry user who it worked for, so look around.

Have a great day!

Hi! I'm new to this team. I've been trying to access the SP website from my blackberry. I've tried both the regular web address (when I get the home page, it won't accept my login information) & with the mobile.sparkpeople.com site - it takes me to a search page that gives results having nothing to do with SP.

HELP!!!!!

Hello everyone. My name is Tonja. I'm a Software Quality Assurance Engineer by trade (meaning I test software for a living) with a background in telecom. I'm been in Cell phone troubleshooting for a while.

this tool allows me to indulge in my two passions - testing and tracking my Spark stuff every day. I'm *particularly* glad because when I head off to my wedding in February, I'll still be able to track even though I'll not be around a computer!

At this time I'll be testing the mobile tracker on three phones, a ATTWS Tilt, Cingular 8125 and a TYTN (all touch screen, but different gen's).... I'm just crazy that way :D

Hello everyone,

My name is Shierry. I have been large all of my life. I am ready, willing, and able to get rid of all of this old weight. I have challenged myself to have get rid of 175 lbs by March 1st 2010. That is 3 lbs per week. I am keeping track of my calorie intake, my water intake, my exercise, and keeping a affirmation/gratitude journal. I quit smoking on Nov 11th 2008. I am going strong.

I enjoy spending time with my girls, watching movies, listening to music of all kinds, baking, spiritual studies, reading, and doing crafts (crocheting, cross stitching, and whatever I get a whim to do.) A few of my favorite things are cherries, Monopoly, skulls, flames, and Zodiac (especially Capricorn, my sign).

I have two beautiful girls, ages 13 and 8. They are my inspiration and reason for being. A short time ago I was in a very dark place in my life and in a split second of rational thought my girls saved my life. I sought out help to deal with the deepest depression I have ever felt in my life. I spent 2 weeks in a hospital and got the help I needed to deal with my situation.

I am married to my high school sweetheart. We have been married for 14 years as of March 2008. Things have been rocky for a while now and we have decided to get a divorce in January or February of 2009. After some tense moments in this decision, we have finally gotten to a place of understanding and reasonable agreements.

I am very spiritual, however I am not very religious. The Higher Power in my life has guided me through the hard times and my daily life. I am confident in my faith and beliefs. I have recently found a couple groups of people that have the same beliefs and values. It is wonderful to find others whom I can talk too.

Please add me as a friend and we can keep each other moving forward through this journey to a long, healthy, and happy life.
