I think of Moses when I think of my testimony. When I was younger I didn't feel very intelligent. I had a speech impediment and was in some classes for learning disabilities. I never felt like I had a mouth to speak when I was in school. In junior high I was very depressed and a lot of days I didn't say anything to anyone at all. My inferiority complex bothered me a lot. I didn't even feel deserving of salvation. I went to a church where people went door to door with the gospel. I thought I would never feel confident enough to do so. I later went to a different church. A new Christian isn't expected to be "mature" right away. I know that God loves each and every one of us. I read some books and thought, I can have a ministry. I can give out books. The books speak far better than I can. Since living on my own, I have gained a voice for myself. I am far better at saying what I am thinking and feeling. Moses at first thought he couldn't talk, but God said "Who made your mouth?" Sometimes we seriously must forget who give us our abilities. People put a lot of value in people who are talented. I tell you the truth, one of the most valuable people I have met was a boy with Down Syndrome. He had so much love. I watched him run a race at the special olympics and I believed he came out last, but it didn't bother him - he still had an award. Who cares if you have "all knowledge" if you do not have love.
