Hey all, I'm Cindy and I have been tracking and working out faithfully since early Feb. Weightloss is hard for me b/c of a health issue, but I can do it if I work hard enough. We have just had a 20 day spring break and have been all over Europe, so my tracking and workouts suffered some. I'm ready to get back on track and a challenge sounds like just the way to do it. CAN'T WAIT!!! emoticon

I've been a member here for some time and have had intermittent spurts of motivation to try and get back into shape and lose some weight. I turned 40 last year and the years began to become apparent. I want to be active and not be so darned tired all the time. I also want to fit back into my cute clothes, but more than anything I want to be healthier for the remainder of my years. I read an article yesterday that really concerned my and applies to my lifestyle here: http://www.npr.org/2011/04/25/135575490/si

I love to eat and don't want to give up my small pleasures like one croissant a week with my skinny latte. Life is too short to not have small pleasures, but I have realized I have to get off my tush and work that croissant off no matter how much I hate exercise. I just need to get past the dislike and learn to like movement. HELP! emoticon

Hello all!

I lost some weight using SP a few months ago, but I have fallen off the wagon with some of the stress I've been going through. I'm moving, but I think that it will be good to get started with SP before the move. SP works, when you use it... I plan on using it!

Hey everybody! I'm Cynthia! I'm using this challenge, as for the past few months i've been stuck in a rut, but over Easter weekend i climbed back out, and i thought this challenge would be great to get me back exercising consistently!! I also have a wedding dress to fit into by October 22, 2011, so that is definitely a goal as well. hehe.
Goodluck everyone! xo

emoticon I'm Janice, and as you see from My Spark Name, I live in Sunny FLA!! My DH and I love to go walking on the Hollywood Beach every Saturday. My problem is I feel like the only one on the beach wearing shorts and not a bathing suit! So this Bootcamp Challenge will help me get back into wearing a bathing suit and feeling good about myself.

My DH is an "Elvis" look-a-like and lots of young/older women love to come get their pics with him on the beach. We have been married for 35 yrs on Valentine's Day.

My profile pic is my 1 yr old grandson, he is wonderful & wish we could see more of him.

Hi, I'm Marisa. Several years ago, I lost about 60 pounds, but I've slowly gained back about 10 of it. I really would like to lose that 10, and maybe an extra 5, so that I feel healthy again!

Hey all. I'm Melanie and over the past 1 1/2 yrs I've lost 50 lbs. However, over the past several months my scale has turned against me. I'm joining for a couple reasons. 1) I need to get myself back on track and could use some help in the discipline area. And 2) A glimpse into a deeply personal reason... I need to try something new and overcome my fear of the unknown.

I'm excited to start this and look forward to "meeting" new people!

I'm Mary from the UK - I've been on Spark almost 2 years and love these bootcamps.

I will get through to the end of this one, doing great with the cardio, but neglect my strength training - so this will keep me on the straight and narrow

Hi,

My name is Christine. I am a mother of a 15 year old son who really keeps me very busy. I need a lot of space and time alone once in a while. I am trying to get into a great shape for the summer by going to Shape Up Simpsonville, SC and have lost 6 lbs so far. I need motivation from other people from Sparkpeople. Now, my Wii is not working anymore so I will have to use Walk Away the Pounds with Leslie Sansone DVD, go to the Y, and Shape Up.

Good Luck to you all!

Good Morning All!

I haven't done one of these team challenges before and I struggle with finding time to exercise each day. I have a 1 year old little girl and I babysit for my sister's 8 month old. They don't nap at the same time yet and finding time to fit in a workout during the day is really tough. I am hoping that by joining this challenge you guys (and I) will hold me accountable!!

Good luck to all!

Hello everyone! I am very excited to be here doing this with you all! My name is Sarah and I live in Switzerland 9 months out of the year. Every once in a while I visit my family in the States (which accounts for the other 3). When I started my journey last January, I promised myself that summer 2011 I would get to wear a bikini for the first time in my life. Well I'm almost there! I know this challenge will help me get there! I look forward to mutual support, helping others, and achieving bikini bodies together!

Hi Everyone,

I'm a 29 year old vet living in Australia. We're heading into winter here but I live up north where it is warm year round and would still like to look better in a bathing suit. I also find I'm not doing enough strength work/toning since starting this journey so i'm hoping this will motivate me!

Hey everyone!

I'm a student, trying to get to the top where I belong! haha Throughout college I've let myself go quite a bit, and I'd really like to make a HUGE life change so that beachgoers don't have to alert Sea World that Shamu has escaped come summer when I go swimsuit shopping. =P

I feel like this challenge will not only motivate me but help me connect with others that have similar goals... which will be great in itself! If anyone wants a buddy, friend me!! =)

Best of luck to all!

Hello,

I have been really struggling with the exercise. I have been sick on and off. It has been hard to stay on track. Now that I am off track I am not motivated to get back into routine. I pray that this will kick me into high gear. But my kids have the flu this week. I hope I don't get it.

I love SP challenges! I've always had great success with them. Very motivating and great at keeping me in the habit of doing something active every day. I co-lead the SparkKansas City team and I'm closing in on the 100 pound weight loss mark since joining SP three years ago. Best of luck to you all!

I have a lot of resources under my belt, but I just need to apply them "consistently". This is the hardest part. I would suggest looking at Tosca Reno. She brought the "clean eating" style to the forefront. She suggests that you pack your meals in a cooler and take them with you. The easiest thing to pack for protein are hard boiled eggs. You can also take protein drinks or meal replacement drinks if you don't have time for a meal. Pack a resistant band for your travel. Hope this helps.

Hi everybody, my name is Penny and I am needing some help - well a lot of help really!!
I have been on and off Spark for a while, always finding some excuses, but I think I just need a kick up the you know where to get me going and I think this will be fun.
I have one son - 4 and a half and work full time. My biggest challenge is not eating in the evening in front of the TV and exercising when I am travelling with work. I am actually travelling next week so I need to figure out how to do this challenge and that travel.
Good luck everybody!

Hi, I am Carolynn, and I need something to committ to get my body moving at a consistent pace. I have been on this roller coaster for far too long. This year is going to be about me. I have 2 children, 10, and 11 (almost 12). My husband does not eat well, nor does he exercise. My children love to play on their computers, but like to cycle with me. I will do my best with the tools you provide me, and I look forward to accomplishing my goal of losing a good portion of weight through this challenge.
