Hi, I am Gloria. I did the 28 day bootcamp challenge in March and it went very well for me. I enjoyed it so much! I have some challenges ahead of me during the next couple of months while I will be studying for a big exam. I am short on time (takes at least four months to study for this but I only have two) so I am going to be stuck in books when I am not working...but I need to stay active during this time so I am going to do this challenge to help me keep on top of things. It is going to be tough but I know that I can do it!

Hello!
Last week a co-worker lost her 42 year old husband suddenly due to complications of obesity and it rocked my world. My aunt died with complications due to obesity. I am 51 and have been fighting this all my life. I was up all night long Friday night with reflux. I have to get this done once and for all! School is over in 3 weeks and I hope to devote the summer to weight loss!

Hello everyone! My name is Jess and I am from Oklahoma City, where I live with my husband and our dog and work as a Labor & Delivery RN. I joined SP and started my journey to a healthier life 2 months ago. I recently completed the 10 Minute Workout Challenge and liked having the accountability of the challenge to keep me motivated. This challenge seemed like a good way to take the next step to increase my strength and endurance through fitness.

I am going to begin this challenge on Sunday, May 5 but I wanted to join the challenge early and get started planning my workouts ahead of time.

Hi, my name is Taylor. I just finished the 28 day Bootcamp and lost 6 pounds doing it! I wanted to keep up the good work by starting this new challenge! I plan on combining the two, doing a 10 min. video from each one, each day as well as the cardio. I can't wait to see the results!

Hi My name is Dee and I will begin my challenge tomorrow. The reason I decide to sign up for this challenge is not to get ready to wear a bikini, Heaven knows I'm far from that but because I want to look and feel healthier and become much more active for my grandkids. I am trying to lose 50 lbs and so far I lose 15lbs and if I don't do something to challenge myself I am afraid that I will gain those pounds back and much more.

hi Mari here! Just joined and plan to start it tomorrow (cause it's 9:30 pm now so i am going to bed). My problem is actually scheduling time to exercise. My plan is to figure out when it is best for me (perhaps in the a.m. before getting ready for work) and keeping it... pretty much like brushing your teeth every day! If i am consistent, I can do it! Thank your Sparkpeope!

Hi Everyone! I am a 28 year old bride-to-be. I started using Spark People again in January after approximately 2 years of non-use and I am down 9 pounds! While everyone wants to be fit and fabulous on their wedding day, my dress fits me perfectly already so I'm not so worried about that. I am worried about spending 10 days on a beach with my new-husband for our honeymoon! I am hoping that the spring into shape bootcamp will give me the confidence I need to put on a swimsuit for my man. Good luck to everyone with their bootcamp challenges!

I've been going to the gym for a few months now, and I'm not really seeing a drop in my weight...I mostly go to cardio classes at the gym, and I notice that most of the women in the cardio classes are heavier than the ones leaving the strength training class! I want to start taking those classes, but thought I would start with the 10 minute Coach Nicole videos first. My goal is to make it to the gym classes before the end of this 30 day challenge! The sun is out today- HOORAY!!!- and the warm weather is coming, and I would like to feel fitter and look better! emoticon

Hi, I am ready to jump start again. I need to lose weight and keep it off. After losing 30 lbs. last year. I am letting life happen. Putting part of it back on. I need to be in control. Lose it and keep it off. Changing my life one step at a time. Have a fit bit for almost 2 months I am walking ,but seeing any results. I log my water and food every day.

Hey! Wisconsin is my home so I am fighting the beer-and-cheese diet that surrounds us here...We are craft brewers and my love for the beverage is catching up to my hips! Hello,
I joined this team because I had lost 58 lbs. for my sisters wedding last June, and have since gained 10 back.. I really really need some help motivating myself again.. I have been doing this for about a week and a half now and think I am on the right track.. I started the 10 min. kickboxing cardio the last couple days and really like, anyone have any other suggestions.. I would really really love to lose about 37 more lbs.

About 4 weeks ago, I lost my father. I have been totally off track since then. My birthday is in about 4 weeks, so I thought this challenge would be a great way to get myself back on track AND get in better shape for my next birthday. Plus, it will be just in time for summer.

I'm ready for a challenge! It's easy for me to fall into slumps. I've lost 11 lbs and need to keep going. This week is my 'time of the month' so I'm struggling. But I just saw this challenge today & thought the boost will do me good! Especially to get me back onto strenght training on a regular basis.

Hi, I'm Maria. I have been a member of SparkPeople since August of 2011, but didn't do much. I have been in a form of chemotherapy twice in the last 3 years for 48 weeks and then for 36 weeks.
I just didn't like the way I looked or felt, so in October, after my second treatment was done I walked in the Jenny Craig franchise in town and started on their program. I have lost 33.8 pounds since then and am feeling great. As soon as I started there, I started walking on my treadmill for an hour a day. I have continued that and increased my speed and incline as I can. I realized that I needed to add something to my walking to start toning and losing inches on my abdomen and thighs, so I started using Wii Active on the weekends and weekdays when the kids don't have school or I have to stay home for some reason. I need to add some more toning exercises to start tightening things up. I will be 48 in May and in June we are going to my NY to visit my family and attend my 30th high school reunion.
I started back to SparkPeople right before Easter and am very glad I did. Love the videos. Very excited to achieve my goals and help others achieve theirs!!! Thanks!

And I guess I should rethink my exercise minutes goal! LOL

Hi, this is my 2nd time around with Sparks. I started back again july 2012 and I'm doing alot better with it, also Sparkcoach helps me alot. It feels good to go to that sight everyday. I do alot of excercises wit ball, because i have a bad knee. The first day of this challenge is a kick, I really enjoyed it alot. Burned 160cal. in 10min. HI I'm Laura and am starting this challenge today as my trousers feel a little snug, post-easter!

I am happy with my figure (UK16) but am looking to have more energy and to not put on anymore weight. I also feel like I need a goal to work on or life will feel a bit empty and as I am 30 in September I thought that fit and 30 would be a good goal!
