Morning everbody!!!! My name is Jes. I live in Nevada. I'm a wife to a blazingly amazing man. A mom to 4 crazy cool kids. I'm determined to actually start and finish this challenge. I'm planning on working out 6-7 days a week. 4 days cardio and 3 days strength. My programs I'm doing r turbo fire, turbo jam, les mills pump. I'm so stoked on this I'm freakin!!!

I am a long way off from my goal. I have took the last 12 months slow and not so steady. It has only gotten me 10 pounds down from my weight loss start. I am doing this challenge to start 2012 off right and I am going to achieve my goal this year!

Hi my name is Jennifer..I live in Indianapolis. I am a 37 year old mother of three teenagers. My son is about to be 18 and leave for college. My daughters are 15 & 16 and are compition cheerleaders, they all keep me very busy. I work for an airline, and I have for 5 years now. I have been trying to go back to school I amde it for 2years and am in the process of finishing in the next 2 years. I just have finally decided that this year is for me to take care of me. Good Morning! I'm Lapis, 38yo, mother of 2, working full time, and finally losing weight. I joined SP about a year ago and fiddle farted around for several months. When I got serious and started actually using the tools available to me through SP, I started losing weight. I'm down 15+ lbs and increasing my activity.

Looking forward to this Jumpstart Workout Challenge to help give me a big boost out of the gate for the new year.

Hi! I'm Patti, 59 and been battling this weight all my life. I lost 40 pounds with Spark, then quit sparking and have gained back 15. I rejoined in September, but haven't lost any weight. I AM going to do it this time. I will lose 8 pounds between now and January 31, and I will continue to lose about 4 pounds a month until I meet that goal!!! I know how to do it. I know WHY to do do it. I need now to JUST DO IT!!!

Hi, I was really good about working out and losing weight and have lost 20 lbs in the last year. I got a little sidetracked the past month or so and want to get back on it!!! It should be good and I will hopefully lose the last 15 lbs to get to my goal weight.

I'm 34 years old and have 2 kids, 7 and 5 and a wonderful husband of over 12 years. I've been on Sparkpeople for 1 1/2 years and I love the site. The last 6 months I haven't been staying on track with my nutrition, but I have been keeping up with the cardio, which is the only that has keep me from gaining more than I have. I joined this team to get me back on track and ready to lose that last 10 pounds for good. emoticon

Hi, I'm 22 married to my high school sweet heart who's a US Marine currently deployed to Afghanistan for the next year. Since we got married in '07 I had gained a good 40 lbs, already lost about 17 lbs looking to lose the rest plus some. I'm 5'6" and 163 right now and I'd like to get to 125-118 (I want abs) and I want to keep it off. I have no kids, and we don't plan to have any till I'm 25 and done with school. So I'd like to reach my goal and keep it off. =] This challenge will be fun and will be a good way to keep me motivated.

Hi I'm Allison, 2012 is my year(really it is) I'm going home for the first time in five years this May, My son starts prek in Sep,I'll be merried for 7yrs in Dec and I'll be a MoH for my BFF's wedding at the end of this year. Hi, I'm Debbie, 58 and from Minnesota. I will be starting the challenge on Sunday. I love to walk & run and go to water aerobics twice a week so I have no problem getting my cardio in but I am lacking in the strength training so this is exactly what I need. Good luck everyone, we can do this!

Hi-I'm sydney, I'd like to be at the end of my ticker already! In addition to losing weight I'd like to continue working out regularly and this year have decided to train for a Sprint triathalon in June. I ran my first and only half marathon in October and have decided to stick with 10K's. I'd like to shave ten minutes off my 10K time...and I'd really like to find all the spare socks!

Hello all, looks like I fit the same bill as a lot of folks joining this challenge. I seem to have lost my motivation mojo over the last couple of months so I've only been working out here and there. I'm hoping to get myself back on track with this challenge. Maybe if I'm accountable to all of you I will make it through. Won't be starting until Tuesday though have to work Cardinals football game on Jan 1st and Fiesta Bowl on Jan 2nd...I wonder if these count as cardio as I am walking quickly for multiple hours?

Hi everyone! I'm Regina, from Mississippi.
I'm determined to make 2012 my year. I am tired of being overweight and at 51, I want to enter the next phase of my life fit and healthy. Hi, I am Kim from St. Albert, Alberta, Canada. I'm 49 and am here to give myself the kickstart I need to start the New Year off right. I've been slacking off after losing 48lbs over the last year and a half and as a result have gained back about 10 lbs. I'm having some difficulty finding the motivation to get back on the wagon so have decided to let this challenge provide the incentive I need. I'm also a newbie to SparkPeople and am finding it a bit daunting getting set up, but hopefully it won't take long to get the hang of the site.

Hi there, I'm so anxious to get started on a better me in 2012. I'm 67 and since retiring I have found myself lazy. I did the first workout video today and could only make it part way through. I know it will get better as I continue. I did go on a hour walk this evening taking a late look at the Christmas tree lights.
