Today my scale said I lost 5 kg since I started to follow my own set of 'bright lines', based on Bright LIne Eating. I combine those bright lines (no sugar, no flour, eat no more than 4x per day, and eat set amounts) with a mostly nutritarian diet. I'm very happy that I'm finally losing weight again.

Just found this group and am all over it! I did ETL a few years ago, and then spiraled out of control and am now returning because I have never felt better than I did then. I am eating one BAS ( Big ass salad) a day, usually at lunch, and am working at eliminating fish. I am also gluten-free, and working on being sugar-free. I am hoping to be vegan/plant-based fully again by July 15th. I currently work out a minimum of 60 minutes a day and have around 130lbs to lose. I am looking forward to being part of an active group!

Still doing well with my goals of no sugar nor flour nor trigger foods, eating max 4x per day and eating set amounts. Lost 3.4 kg since I started on May 7th.

Exercise is an average of about 40-50 min per day

Doing well with my goals:

Since my last post I met the goals of no sugar, no flour,no trigger foods, eating no more than 4 times per day, a daily salad, and eating set amounts of food.
Exercise is harder due to my foot pains.

* Eat 3 meals and at most 1 snack per day - yes
* Eat set amounts of food. yes
* Eat a salad every day. yes
* Get at least 40 minutes of exercise daily. no- 35 minutes

White- I am trying to stay unprocessed- seems to help.
I got a long walk in 7 miles. We moved last month about a mile away from my favorite routes so taht adds 2 because of out and back- I am trying to think of it as a good thing.
I hope your foot feels better soon

I will join you - as WHITE-GREEN or as WHITE-2 (whichever account I am logged in to! grin) - for the rest of June. I'll try to post here every day.

My challenge is to work on these goals:
* No sugar (done this since February 23rd)
* No flour (done this since May 7th)
* No trigger foods (done this since May 7th)
* Eat 3 meals and at most 1 snack per day (same)
* Eat set amounts of food. (same)
* Eat a salad every day. (Have been doing this for a long time now, maybe 8 months? longer?)
* Get at least 40 minutes of exercise daily. (This was no problem but now that I have foot pains again it is a challenge!).

I read 'Bright LIne Eating' recently and created my personal 'bright lines' (no sugar, no flour, eat 3 meals and at most 1 snack, and eat set amounts of food as described in my food plan). So far I have been doing very well!
Cutting out flour seems to make a big difference in my ability to resist thoughts about overeating.

I'm jumping in for June
I have 2 goals-
1 is to follow the 6 week challenge - aggressive weight loss plan
and to do 60-90 minutes of exercise/physical activity

On this thread you get to pick your own challenge.

Write down what ETL-related goal you want to work on and post about your progress (or lack of progress) on this thread.

You could for example set a goal to get in the G-BOMBS every day... to meet the nutritarian guidelines every day... Or just to eat x servings of vegetables per day.
Or to do a certain number or type of exercise every day, or x times per week.

If you want to do a challenge, let me know per sparkmail and I'll follow your posts!
