Praise God that Boo has a new home and a new name? I am so happy. He is a beautiful cat..a very handsome boy indeed.

To the one with 12 cats..I am so glad you are blessed to be able to care for them so well and have the space to do so. I shudder at seeing some homes with too many cats and poor conditions. I am pleased you are not one of those people and have the means to be responsible and take such good care of them. May God Bless You for sure.

Twelve???

I often joke with my boyfriend that if we had a house instead of a condo, I'd have one for every letter of the alphabet

Thanks for updating on Boo. I was coming back to post about it. So glad he's found a home!

THEHERDLADY, I completely agree. I actually have a "herd" of 12 in my house. I'm blessed to have the space to help so many. Even though they can get into a few squabbles here and there, and it's a massive endeavor to feed them, vaccinate them, & scoop boxes, each of them and their loving, unique personalities makes it worth it. And when one passes on, you can definitely feel the empty space they left behind, both in the house & in your heart.

Hooray for Boo/Johnny!!
There really are good people out there. Many of us take in, or find homes for strays. The hard part is determining if an apparent stray is really a stray or a furbaby that gets put outside at will. Many people in my neighborhood think it is a need for kitties to be out prowling around. We keep all 7 of our furbabies inside and I believe they are all healthier for it. It is not unusual for Red Cat to be up in the window grrrring at a kitty outside in his yard. I had a discussion with a lady I worked with who said she was doing her neighbors a favor by letting her cat outside to catch mice for them. I mentioned that I didn't see the benefit for the kitty or for the neighbors whose gardens were serving as litter boxes for said kitty. She saw no harm for either. After a couple of further attempts, I knew I would not change her mind. (nor would she change mine.) The furbabies in our home still stay in.
Thank heaven for the people in this world with a heart for the critters!

I know no one in Pa, but I sent the link to everyone in my address book and ask them to send it on. Maybe it will reach someone close by. I'll post it on my FB too. Good idea...

I know there are so many unwanted wonderful kitties out there, but this one in particular really speaks to me. I know it would break my heart if I were in this situation.

If you know of anyone in the Western Pennsylvania area (or beyond) that could give this poor little guy a home, please help!
