I might look into it. I know my insurance offers so many free counseling sessions per year, I might take advantage of that.

Thanks :). I'm going to print out my goals and put them us so I can see them.

I don't think counselling would hurt if you gave it a try. If you think you need it then give it shot. I think we could all use some counselling every now and again even if it's just a mental check-up of sorts.

Great revisions. You can do this!

I'm doing a lot better with water. I'm currently working on a 30 day challenge, which hasn't been too great, but I feel like I'm trying harder, so it is a start. I'm up 5 of the 15 I lost, so I'm working on getting that back down and then some by end of year. I'm mostly trying to work on my mental relationship with food. I sometimes wonder if counseling would help.

Going in for a birth control refill so we'll see what weight I am at, I won't be happy I have gained all the weight I lost. Taking a break from the scale wasn't a good idea for the weight loss but I did feel better mentally, I wasn't depressed every time I stepped on it because I wasn't stepping on it anymore. But I am going to return to weighing myself and try not to let it get me down when I don't see the results I want.

I still haven't achieved that pull up or weight goal and we have a little less than 5 months to go.

We can do it guys, we can reach our goals.

I adjusted my goals and made them more S.M.A.R.T.

1. Eat more vegetables and fruit. >> Eat 5 vegetables are fruit a day
2. Drink more water. >> Drink 6 cups of water a day
3. Get at least 6000 steps in a day. >> 2000 steps before lunch + 2000 steps before dinner + 2000 steps before bed
4. Accomplish a pull up by November 1st
5. Reach 130 (19.8 lbs to go) by December 1st

My daily steps and water intake are improving. My scale number is still a bit away. I am cooking more and eating out less, but do need to get some healthier recipes.

I joined a gym back in November because there was a discount for my work but I've gone to it once and I went on the treadmill. I feel so intimidated when I go. I want to try out the machines but ugh I don't want to look clueless.

I'm removing #5 off me resolutions. I'm going to take a break from the scale for a bit and just focus on non-scale goals and victories.

1. Eat more vegetables and fruit.
2. Drink more water.
3. Get at least 6000 steps in a day.
4. Accomplish a pull up
5. Reach 130 (9.8 lbs to go)

I will go by my end of month weigh in to see where I am at. Here are some updates so far though.

Start date 2/10/2017 : 243.6 pounds
Current weight 3/22/2017: 228.4 pounds

I have joined a gym and have started by going every other day so far. On the days I haven't gone I am doing some walking in the evening, just to keep the muscles from being too sore. I'm still not to the max I need to be with water, but it's a daily struggle I am working on.

I am down to 234 pounds...but I was up to 243 again when I weighed the first day with the dietitian. I am getting more water in, not as much as I'd like, but it is improving. I am not at 10k steps right now, but I've been down with a sinus infection. I'm slowly inching towards my goals though, more so than last year.

Christine how are the New Year's Resolutions going? I just came in here to remind myself what they are. For March I'll start working towards that pull up goal.

Anyone else want to share their goals for this year?

Call me Sandy.
