Lost one pound but am still 28 pounds more than when I origionally joined Spark and still more than I've every wieghed before. My orinional highest weigh was 154 and I got up to 176 after geting really sick almost 5 years ago with a rare disease and had to go one daily steriods for 3 years and then just when I had a flare-up. I haven't had a flare-up of any kind that I had to go back on steriods in a year this month. Staying out of the hospital for a year is great.

I am just about where you are exactly. I have been following the spark plan since Sept 1. I am getting a bit discouraged as I have only lost 2 lbs in all that time and have been exercising as well as eating well. One thing I discovered this week is that sparks calculation of my BMR compared to another site is quite a bit higher. I am going to concentrate on keeping to the lower end of my calorie range and see what happens. I see how well others have done here and am trying to keep at it. emoticon

I'm new to checking in here, but here's my stats:
started weight watchers in December at 220 pounds, broke my foot in April and on crutches through July, walking cast in August (dropped ww) and beginning walking in September;) I'm 5'4" and this last Wednesday (my weigh in day) I was at 179.6

weighed in on Saturday...I've been bobbing between 135 and 140 as I changed my caloric intake and building a new exercise routine...but on Saturday, I was still at 138!

Since this is my first time weighing in here, figured I would post my stats. I have been absent from Spark for months...getting my goals back on track. I have lost two pounds this week. My offical weigh in day is Thursday. I lost almot 4 lbs last week. So right now I am at 157.8! Hope to be at 156.8 this Thursday, and the best part is I am head. My goal was to be at 158.0 this Thursday! YEAH! Must have been the water I drank. So as of right now I am ahead! We'll see this Thursday!

My turtle, on my weight scale, has grown legs. After weighing 162lbs FOREVER, I am now at 156. I can wear size 10 "stretch" jeans, and my husband's 33" Wranglers, (although my waist mesures 36"-go figure?).
I just bought him some that needed to be shortened but now I am keeping them. SIS emoticon

Trust me, I'm usually an undereater too...I feel like I live on the nutrition tracker sometimes because I need just ONE MORE THING (usually per meal) to push me where I need to be...and when I do I ususally feel stuffed which I don't like...Hang in there! You're not alone!

emoticon HLFPNTSH...took a look at your nutrition tracker for yesterday and just suggestions but adding a fruit with your cereal, tuna fish salad (alone or as a sandwich) and/or a side order of vegetable with dinner may have been enough to push you into the area caloric area you want along with the carb-fats-protein breakdown! It's funny as we are all trying to lose weight to continually have to remind ourselves that you really have to EAT to get there! Hang in there!

PS...this is the first time I've actually looked at anyone else's nutrition tracker...that's way cool to be able to be able to offer suggestions based on what someone actually eats! emoticon

Down .4 this week, still losing, but the slow down is discouraging! Had a cheat night on Saturday, hope it doesn't affect me this week. Back on track, keeping fingers crossed.

Thanks for the inspiration. I lost 2.4 pounds this week and am starting to feel better. Need daily reminders that I am in this for the long haul and that it will get easier as time goes by. Starting to realize that I can still eat well and lose weight, no more bingeing or cheat days!! Best Rx is to keep Sparkpeople on at all times and record everything. Goals for the coming week: keep exercising, have more servings of vegetables and get more sleep!
