Hi, guys!

Just checking in. Since I started SP on 3/25 I've lost 4 lbs adn 2.5 inches. I've only lost 1 lb this past week, but I did lose 1.5 inches so that's something I guess.

I lost 3 lbs my first week, will need to take measurements to keep track of that. Not sure how to change the tracker, hope I can figure it out!

I'd love to post my weight, but I started on a Monday and promised myself I would only weigh in once a week on Monday morning.

OK, who are we kidding, I weigh myself more than once a week, but I only COUNT the weight I am on Monday! emoticon

I haven't lost a pound yet but I did lose an inch around my hips, yay! This is really encouraging since I just started tracking everything religiously since Tuesday. I can't wait to see where I am next week!

Thanks for the congratulations. I've done this a few times before, so I know that things will slow down drastically real soon. I've been staying around 1200 calories each day, pretty low on the carbs and high on the roughage and protein. I've started to exercise on the treadmill and do a little jump roping. I'm sure most of it was water weight, because I was very bloated when I started, but I am feeling better already.

I don't know if you all feel the same, but the biggest hurdle for me is actually getting started.

Wow...way to go! I'm waiting to weigh in until Sunday. I'm hoping to at least lose 1 pound because I have been having some issues getting the carbs under control but I am taking it a day at a time and hope to have it under control soon.

Wow! I just had my first official weigh-in for my first week and I've lost 9.5 pounds. Of course, it helps that I started on the worst possible day of the month, so I was pretty bloated to begin with, but it can't all be water. What a boost to keep this healthy eating and exercise going!

Sounds like a great idea. I'm in. Might be a good way to keep me off that scale everyday, but I doubt it. LOL. BTW, how do you get one of those "I LOST x POUNDS on sparkpeople" icons? I am really working for one of those.

I'm so happy! Finally the scale is moving in the right direction. Another pound lost this week. I had a couple of bad days, but even so, the scale moved in the right direction, down instead of up!

Chica, great attitude! You're right, there's more than that number on the scale. I think it's a great idea to post what we've lost (hopefully) but also to post the other successes that we've had.

:) sunday (bloody sunday--the day i discovered what i weighed!) is my regular weigh in date.
i didn't get to do it last sunday b/c i don't have a scale!!
also, i don't go online on weekends (a personal rule), so i can't post until monday.

finally, i also don't believe that the scale best displays our "fitness"...so i'll probably also post non-scale victories--like changes in size, or getting back into the clothes in my closet :)

anyway...i'm here!

If everyone wants to set it to Sunday that is fine... lets discuss that but so far it looks like sunday is a preferred day.

I think its better if we have a thread to post our weigh-in to view other team member's progress instead of going to their profile to see what they lost because that way when we post our weekly weight we can drop down some comments on how that week went and how you got the results for that week.

I dunno. I started on a Sunday so i keep sunday as my "weigh in day" If anyone wants to see how much ive lost, all they have to do is look at my ticker.
I guess for those which like accountability its a good idea

Well . . . I didn't weigh myself on Friday, but I weighed yesterday and was down 4.2 lbs since last Monday! Is that how you want us to record it? I'm having trouble recording the loss on my spark page - I don't even know if I'm doing it right. I'll have to see if it shows up on the graph that displays on my posting!

Last week I was thinking we should all have a day we do a weigh-in and post it on the thread. So here is that thread! emoticon

Lets post our weight here every sunday. That way we all have time to catch up (if any of us have been slacking) and get on track in the week to show our results every sunday. Maybe we can even do something with the top 3 team members to lose the most weight in a month?

Who ever wants to participate just post your weight on every sunday starting this week. Let me know what you guys think as well.
