Bought some more apples green ones so it will be apples for this week.and natural unsweetened applesauce for evenings. So far mmy fat grams are good and I have days my calories get a little close but all in all I'm doing good. Now carbs... That's a different animal.

Apparently my body likes the low fat counting calories down three pounds.and its making me accountable. I still have the sweet tooth. But have been drinking my water too. Doing some stretches (gentle) BC of the hip. This week I'm eating half of a grape fruit every evening. Last week was green apples. Looking forward to frozen grapes when it gets warmer.also when we go out to Chinese I choose the Mongolian grill it allows me to choose what I want in my food and it taste so much fresher. Good choice? I think so lots of fresh veggies.very little meat and fat. I control.

2pounds down. Toast,margerine,2scrambled eggs,applesauce cup,tea hot.see I should have waited to weigh myself on Thursday.ha

whole grain cereal,1/2 cup of fat free milk,coffee 1 cup. and 4 tsp of creamer. doing the cals and fat grms is a change up on my losing weight prog. and i think we have to change things up from time to time or we get bored.

OK I cheated on my weigh in day. Its Thursdayi was suppose to weigh in. But my pants were getting loose and I knew I must have lost something. 1pound behind me. I've been very strict on myself.

Small tiny shrimp about four various veggies,chines cabbage,green onion,white onion,a few mushrooms,chopped garlic and a small laddle of sauce. 1/4 cup of white rice,and soup I didn't care for.hot tea

As you can see I'm just randomly putting on here what I eat . Turkey bacon 2 PC. Two toast 1 tab margerine 1slice of avacado,1/2 grapefruit,2 cups coffee,4tsps coffee mate. That was breakfast.

Small salad,4 taquitos,1mandarine orange,water 16 oz that's lunch.

4oz cod fish,1 cup of instant mashed potatoes,salad,various seasonings for fish. Lemon juice for salad. How am I doing? Weigh in is Thursday. I'm doing this with the support of my spark friends. 16 oz water with every meal.. Dessert would be a low fat ice cream sandwich.

We pay $32 for the year and then $5 per month, which I think is pretty good. I hope you find a group and that it is supportive. Glad to hear your appetite is returning, the soup sounded wonderful, might just have to make some.

well slowly but surely my appetite is coming back. i need to be careful lol. last nite didnt feel much like eating but did anyway. had a bowl of homemade chicken/lemon/parsly/veggie soup. it was all i wanted. this morning i ate tw pcs of toast,1 tab of marg. for both pcs, and 1 tsp of honey for both pcs. two pcs of farmers sausages links. and a mandarine orange. tea of course with lemon and a bit of honey. now for lunch 1 small salad, 1/3 pc of goat cheese spinich pizza,1 pear. 1 cup of water.

i checked into tops here and they want 29.00 a year to do this online and im not sure what they want for the meetings anyway there is one not far from here. i might check it out.

Bel, I think the Tops meetings vary depending on who takes it. They do have some set rules, but I think the leader can make changes. Our leader does not like anything that makes you feel bad, so we changed our pledge to something that we all like. From what I gather some of the pledges sound pretty bad and if I had to say something like that when I gained weight then I don't think I would go, plus making someone wear a pigs nose is just nasty to me and I certainly wouldn't go to that meeting.

I seem to have fallen back into the habit of snacking in the evening, maybe something to do with winter and the cold weather. So this week I will make sure that if I do want to snack it is something healthy like fruit. I am not eating salad at the moment, so I think that will also change this week.

im not sure if we have a tops here or not. i will check into it. a friend of mine in calif use to go she lost a lot of wt. if they lost they got a clap if they didnt they had to wear a pig nose. so i didnt want to go there. lol but i will check into it. im not feeling myself yet, still not much of an appetite which in a way is a good thing. my down fall i think is the winter and snacking in the evenings which i know is a bad thing but since retireing its been a little different for us. altho manny is still working.

salads with strawberries, home made ranch dressing is on my list this week in the evenings. small amounts of meats and sweet potatoe (small) jello and lots to drink. some fresh fruits like mandarins and apples. thats this weeks list. and popcorn with low sod. good eating everyone.

Bel, I love our TOPS group. There are about 35 members and all very chatty. It only costs $5 a month, WW is $16 a week. We weigh in, say our pledges, say if we are up or down, get a clap if we are down and a sorry if we are up. Then go into the programme, something someone has prepared for the meeting. It usually takes about an hour and then we finish with the same pledge. Lots of fun at this meeting and lots of support. I love WW, and it helped me a lot, but I felt a bit isolated, other than a few friends I made. Plus it was costing too much. I now work on calories and not points so much, although it is hard to break that habit, but I find counting calories and adding exercise in to my day works for me now. Last week at TOPS I lost 1.4 so I was very pleased with that. I put on 5 lbs over Christmas and now I have just about got rid of it.

well thats a great idea. as long as we are getting it down. lynn i see you changed from wt watchers to tops. what do you find different between the two? which one do you like better? i just know i have to be responsible for charting and knowing what goes into my mouth or i will get out of control. im digging out my walk fit tapes and trying those see how that goes. and doing some strength training on the upper body. but yoga stretchs first.

my food diary is going great! this am manny made breakfast a lovely veggie 1egg,1 yolk omelet with feta cheese. 2 slices of multigrain toast,1 tab of margerine,2 sausage links. 2 cups of coffee and a mandarin orange. not a bad breakfast. now to get the water intake and i will be set until lunch. lite lunch for me today because we are having rib eye for valentines day dinner here at home. i will do 4 oz of the rib eye only not sure what else.

no i dont have one of either and am trying to cut down my expenses. but i do walk and do what i can. this pain is in the side of my knee outside of it. it doesnt hurt when im on it but it does hurt when im laying down. and if i take the stairs i can feel some pain. i was using that left leg a lot when my right hip was damaged from bursitis and the fall. dr. says putting a lot of wt on the one leg going up and down stairs could be the cause. so i baby it. walking seems to be ok on it. just not for miles. lol

Bel, do you have access to a stationary bike or a pool? I've found that the bike is great for my knees, both before and after replacements. I think riding the bike had a lot to do with my easy recovery after the replacement since it kept the muscles and supporting tissues strong and supple. Water exercises are great since they relieve the weight on the joints.

I keep track of my food throughout the day, writing it down in my log book. Then I enter it into Calorie Count, quick, easy and it gives me all the nutrition info I need. The reason I love it, it is quick emoticon

I LIKE TO KEEP A FOOD DIARY SO I CAN SEE WHERE I MIGHT BE GOING WRONG.

i date it. and go to it every day, i have to keep on top of this or i will fail. i have one on paper and i will do one here.

Feb 9,2014 SO FAR IVE EATEN NOTHING THIS MORNING. but my plans are to have a bowl of cereal with 5 grams of fiber. my coffee with 1 tab of coffee mate and if i want another cup it will be black. 1/2 grapefruit, 1/2 cup 2%milk for the cereal. my morning snack is around 10:00 and it is some kind of fruit and then i start drinking my water. usually 2 bottles in the morning,1 for lunch and 2 for dinner.
lunch today will be four toquitos and a small salad with 1 mandarin orange.
snack at 2:00 pc of fruit 1 oz of lowfat cheese.
dinner. not sure yet. it will be 4 oz of protein, veggies,fruit and water.
snack 2 cups of popcorn
after that no more eating just drinking water or caffiene hot tea.
