Thank you Ginger - I had also heard of that recipe at one time. I think I'll try that this morning and see how it works for me. Great idea!

Friday Breakfast - Actually it was pretty good, although my waffle stuck to the griddle and I had to peel it off in pieces, however, will give it another try.

I like to use my oatmeal to make a waffle for breakfast. I top it with the Walden Farms Pancake Syrup (0 cal, 0 carb) & ICBIB Spray.

1 pkg. oatmeal
1 pckt. splenda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
dash of cinnamon
1 Tbsp. Eggbeaters
5-6 Tbsp. cold water

Stir all together. Let stand for 10 mins. while heating waffle iron. Spray waffle iron with Pam. Pour batter (you may need to add a little more water to make certain it is of pouring consistency)on hot waffle iron and spread with spatula. I like mine crisp so it takes 4-5 mins. I really enjoy this breakfast...I hope you will enjoy it also.

Thanks Shannon. I used to also combine my MF oatmeal w/instant Quaker regular; using 1 packet MF with 2 packets Quaker and then creating 3 servings. I'll try it as is first and top with a bit of sf maple syrup!

I make it the same way I used to make the instant oatmeal packages. Paper cup, hot water from the coffee maker, probably 8-12oz I dont mind it more of a drinking consistency then eating. I like the MF oatmeal just fine, I just have never cared for cooked apples so the apple/cinnamon is my least fav. My tip: water first than product, mixes easier.

I just got another box of peach oatmeal. I think this is their all-time worst product, however, I know there are those that actually like it. If you are one that likes the oatmeal, how do you prepare it? Maybe I need to add more or less water, or adjusst cooking time? Any ideas for success with this one?
