Sorry you didn't get to say goodbye to your pastor in person. I didn't make it in person either.
I was out at 6 am to water my new plants that were planted in May. I was already breaking into a sweat!! emoticon That's it for me today. I hope we don't add any more of these triple digit heat days this year. Hope everyone can try to stay cool today one way or another.

91 at 10:30 am. I just let our departing pastor know that I would not make church today. It was our first in person service and his last as our minister. I had wanted to say goodbye in person rather than email. Oh well. Also, I cancelled our TOPS meeting for tomorrow afternoon. Same building. No air. Youngest member is 67. I did not want to be responsible for any of our 80 year olds getting heat stroke or me either for that matter.

I miss that marine air. We're showing 113 for Sun. now!! I have to quit looking because every time I do it goes up!! My mother-in-law lives in AZ and has no sympathy. I told her the difference is they all have a/c and many of us here don't!

Had a great trip. I may have been moving stuff for my daughter, but I truly turned the trip into a vacation. It was great.

Oh...I love the May Day Daisies.

Amazing what even ten minutes a day on something can accomplish over time. It is that consistency. Wonder what the yard looks like. Hope my lawn mowing person can get to it before it rains again.

Had fun with all my relatives in Vegas, heading home now. Slowly but surely and safely.

Good news Cathy. Funny you say tidy up the greenhouse. That's exactly where I'm at. The kids took over our apt. and our greenhouse is attached. They wanted to give it a go, I believe they found out how much work it is and pretty much it became a storage unit. This Spring, I've had the time to give it 15 - 30 minutes a day. Sure is looking better. It has been a great outdoor escape from the wind that keeps coming. Tomatoes, peppers and strawberries are all I have growing there. I too resist the urge to garden like a farmer! Less is more....

The weather has hit 86 degrees one day. Headed that direction later in the week. Ahh, Spring! emoticon May Day Bouquet for you.

I have done a little active cleaning on greenhouse. I am trying to resist the urge to grow anything. I want to tidy up this year instead. Weather still fabulous and I have been enjoying it. Did a two mile hike and another one mile again, so pretty much back to normal.

That flu was harsh! We had a fierce case of it last Fall. Hope the Spring weather will get you back on track soon!
The wind here has been relentless. Supposed to calm today (they always say that). Going to work in the greenhouse today. Tomatoes and green peppers will grow in the hot house this year.

Have a great day!

This whole week has been nice and I have been down with the flu. NOT covid. A little bummed about that, but today other than being a little week, I am pretty much back to normal. So got outside today and enjoyed this fabulous weather.

No rain here in Eastern Oregon. The wind keeps hitting us hard every few days. We almost broke 70 degrees yesterday. The days sure seem shorter when the weather is nice!

Good Morning!. I started Buddy's walk in pouring rain. He did his business and came home. I went back out again and got 1.6 miles in. About halfway through the sun peeked out and it was glorious. Home now and it is raining again. Typical spring day. My shirt still feels a bit damp. Hope it dries out soon. I don't want to change for work. Bud wants out now. He brought me a shoe. I think I will open the door to the back yard. That should change his mind.

Barely got the water in the pool to keep her from flying in the 50 mph wind storm! Winds are steady 20 -30 here against a blue cloudless sky this morning.

Great to hear from you Cathy! emoticon

Hello, Glad to see you again. The pool and deck will be a wonderful addition.

Light mist here in the NW corner. I walked Buddy a mile in it this morning. Quite refreshing.

We're out of the freezing weather here in Umatilla. The strong winds are keeping me in the shop. Our Spring project is placing our above ground pool (got a great clearance deal this Winter) and building an adjacent deck. Daily progress, albeit slow, in joy!
