I find that I start getting in a few evtra steps as soon as I put on my Fitbit in the morning. I get in about 1,000 more steps on a normal day. It all adds up!

My chage2 seldom messes up my steps till yesterday when it gave me 39,000 steps between 4 and 5 in the morning and I didn't get up till 6. A friend told me how to reset it and it works great again, but the extra steps stayed around

Yesterday was my 1 year anniversary with Fitbit.
I use a charge 2 and flex 2 I got the charge 2
to track my sleep and it seldom works. This
week I got my new CPAP and it tracks it well.

Mine rarely gives me more steps so that part
is good.

Hope everyone had a great week and enjoy
your weekend !

Been getting some extra walks in and feel great when I do. I walk four miles around a small lake at a county park. Just so peaceful and beautiful!

Had a satisfying day off. Got 8 hours of sleep. Went out to lunch with my son. Visited Mom and got her rent situation straightened out. Got the referral needed to get her started on home health care beginning Monday. Thank you Jesus!

Ice coffee again. I just got a big surprise. As most of you know I don't sync but once or twice a day. I went for a 2 mile walk at 9 this morning. OK 5 to 6000 steps. Should put me between 9 and 10,000 steps. I checked my charge 39,000 steps. So I synced and checked my time line. I took 39,000 steps between 4 and 5 this morning. I didn't get up till 6. I was wearing the charge on my wrist so can't be restless leg. Which I do have trouble with from time to time. Not only that but it hadn't recorded any steps since I got up. I know I'm a heave stepper, but 39,000 steps in an hour? Is that even posable? I started to put the flex on, but decided that is more steps then I get in a day and took it off.

I plugged the charge in. it said the battery was half full, but I left it to fill completely up. I have put it back on, not because I need more steps, I already have more today the normal, but to see what the stupid thing does. So far it is tracking right. I've been told that sometimes plugging your tracker into the computer helps and that is how I charge my charge,

I too love the reminders! I'm a quilter and could end up sitting for 5 hours straight!

I just completed my 1st week with my Fitbit! I love it. I have tracked my food every day as best I can.(Even the scotch and soda at cocktail time) I have met my step goal 5 out of 7 days. Sunday I chose to not walk and Monday I missed by a lousy 100 steps! LOL! I don't think I have been this consistent for the last 20 years!

I may even try the Silver Sneakers aerobics class at the gym. Does anyone know what exercise I would set my Fitbit Versa on when I do the class?

Yes, your steps count. IF you have the fitbit on your wrist, but don't hold the side rails. They will count if you put your fitbit in your pocket of on your ankle. Some people put it on their bra, I haven't tried it, but am told it isn't quite as accurate.

I love my Alta!

Feeling sluggish this week. We had a very busy Memorial Day weekend in 90+ degree heat with humidity. I've been exhausted all week, and the temps have stayed around 90. Finally dropped to around 80 today. But, I haven't been doing my walks. Good thing I walk a lot a work!

For some reason I couldn't get my Ionic to sync after charging, I wear my Alta when charging my Ionic. I had to delete my app and re install it and my Ionic finally charge, although I lost 1000 steps. But happy it is working now.

Took Mom for a manicure and pedicure. She loved the attention that was lavished upon her. I was not impressed. Her nails were all uneven and jagged looking. I would have refused to pay until they fixed them so they looked decent. Mom, on the other hand, was thrilled over the pampering, so I let it go. It was hard to keep my mouth shut, but I managed. She was happy, and that is what matters most.

Took Mom to the eye doctor today. Turns out her loss of vision is not from the shingles she had in her eye, but she suffered a stroke in her eye. Have to take her to a retina specialist. Hopefully, the damage can be corrected. I've never heard of a stroke in the eye before. I'll have to do some research about that.

MISSLORI5 : I'm not willing to pay for Fitbit Coach. There is a very limited free option, but I'm not impressed with it enough to go premium for more.

Hubby was up all night coughing, so we are all exhausted today. My throat is sore from sinus drainage. Sure hope it is just allergies and not what he has.

they will give me a new kind to replace it- the clip or small wrist - hate anything on my wrist for any length of time so got the clip .. as of aug 1 st .
all the rest are 1/2 off - but all are wrist ones - hate that ... but love fitbit

Just got home from a nice family vacation at Universal Studios Orlando. Got thousands of steps in every day. Didn't track a bite of food, but we were too busy having fun to spend much time eating. No internet or phone the whole time we were there. We had a fantastic time. Now its back to the real world and time to get busy meeting summer goals.

This was started today at our meeting.

Cleverly written letter circulating Facebook

Today was the absolute worst day ever
And don't try to convince me that
There's something good in every day
Because, when you take a closer look this world is a pretty evil place
Even if some goodness does shine through once in a while,
Satisfaction and happiness don't last
And it's not true that
Itís all in the mind and heart
Because
True happiness can be obtained
Only if one,'s surroundings are good
It's not true that goods exists
I'm sure you can agree that
The reality
Creates
My attitude
It's all beyond my control
And you'll never in a million years
Today was a good day

Now read from the bottom to the top

It's been a wonderful Mother's Day. We took both our Mom's out for dinner on Friday, so it was just us today. After church, we went to see the Avengers: Infinity War, then a little shopping for our son, and out to eat. It was a wonderful family day.

Happy Mothers Day!

I know I can do this, and I know we can all do this as long as we are willing to try.
