"Soft Parade" by the Doors
at the Coronado Department store on October 17, 1969 (I also started writing on the inside envelope when and where I bought it or when and who gifted it to me, do not know why I decided to do this, went on til the 90s when I bought my last album by the Wandering Willowbys thru the mail using that old Columbia Records promo). My 1st gifted album was "More of the Monkees" my birthday in '67 by Peggy Lindstrom

I think mine was Meet the Beetles.

I have music on various things. The first I bought was back in the 60's but I have no recall as to which was first. Might have been the Beach Boys or the Everly Brothers.

The new game thread of Bands A-Z got me thinking...

What was the first album you ever bought?

I honestly don't remember the first cassette tape I ever bought, but I may never have really bought one...no. I can see one. I think it was Annie Lennox Diva. My first CD was the Proclaimers, Sunshine on Leith. SUCH a good album if you look it up. "500 Miles" is, of course, awesome, but their other songs are also great. There isn't a bad one on the whole thing.

I'm 4'10.5". A normal BMI for my height tops out at 121.
