Wonder Woman, Coco, and Murder on the Orient Express were all super. Star Wars was entertaining. I hope to see Black Panther next.

DH belongs to the hiking group in our community and mountain hikes twice a week. So about 2 years ago, a group of mountain hikers and I went to see the movie WILD.

I had a hard time to sit still that long without some crocheting or something else to use up my non thinking time. I was antsy and glad when it was over.

Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of May 2019. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2019 to be back to below 155.

This might not have been the last movie I watched in a theater, but how about Wonder Woman. Hubby and I hated it. (we LOVE the original Wonder Woman, mind you)

This film was very political / social
Added battles with gods.
Sensual in some parts.
Mocked the concept of Marriage before Sex.
Eventually, she SLEEPS with Steve (yes, sex)

The Real Wonder Woman had a code of honor. And THAT is what makes a good hero.

I do, however, really enjoy The Bourne Identity series. Kind of mind boggling, but I like them.

The Regal Cinema had 2017 Best Picture Film Festival last year. I paid $35 for a ticket.
This ticket was all I had to pay to see the 9 movie nominees. The theater offers multiple
showings of the movies over ten days.
The last movie I saw was from the 2017 film festival and it was Hidden Figures.
I bought my ticket for this year and Regal 2018 Best Picture Film Festival starts this Friday. $35 for 9 movies is a great deal. I can't wait to start to see them.
emoticon I don't go to the theater any other time except when they offer film festival promotions.

Last time we went to the theater was a couple of years ago. Not sure the name of the movie but remember it was based on a Nicholas Sparks book. It was okay.

Antwone Fisher was my answer last year & sorry to say that it remains my answer this year. I would highly recommend the book and/or the movie.
