I grew up in a house with no central heat. So now I turn off the heat at night. At night I get to hot when the furnace runs and the noise wakes me up. If the grandchildren or
I have guests of course I turn the furnace on at night. emoticon

During winter, here it is most likely Dec. and Jan. maybe Feb. I put on flannel sheets, and an electric blanket. I usually do not turn on my side of the electric blanket. This year not at all.

We do not turn on the furnace, but it seldom gets colder than in the 60 degrees. When we wake we turn on the fireplace in the great room and it heats up our living space.

I sleep with two pillows under my head, and one hugging pillow. Usually a sheet, (which might be a flannel sheet). If I'm cold I'll pull up the blanket. DH sleeps with one flat pillow, the sheets, a blanket, (electric is on in winter) and quilted heavy bedspread over him.

During warm weather I sleep with only the sheet and 3 pillows of course. Maybe the overhead fan and even if it is running I have a personal fan turned on me. No fans for DH.

Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of May 2019. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2019 to be back to below 155.

Oh dear...you had to ask.

My husband shakes his head at 'us girls' because we have to have several pillows. lol

Well,
One pillow for my head, and one or two BEHIND that pillow in order to prop up my arm which is holding my favorite pillow in place.
One fluffy pillow to hold and lean into is preferred.

I CAN'T sleep without being covered, and a sheet is almost never good enough.

Hate a fan blowing directly on me, but it can be on.

Left is my favorite side.

And I HAVE to read something first in order to get sleepy.

Last week, I fell asleep and, instead of my book hitting ME in the face, it hit my husband's BACK. LOL I laughed, but HE slept through it.

I like to sleep in a cool room on my side.

I must sleep on my left side to avoid acid reflux.

A fan is a must, an open window, if only a crack in nice, some kind of cover. A sheet during the summer and blankets during the winter.

Objects in the mirror will get thinner than they now appear

How do you sleep best? Cool room, fan, electric blanket, layered covers, or something else?
