Yes I make it first thing every morning...it's part of my OCD. Like that I can't have even have one thing in my sink . I have to wash it and put it away immediately. emoticon

Even the not quite great. I was single for a lot of years during which time I probably officially "made" the bed about ten times. My life was greatly unaffected by this neglect. I told DW that if she wanted to make it, I would never stand in her way, but that I thought it was pretty much a waste of time and energy. That seems to have worked!

Yeah, Dave. The self-making bed. How cool is that?

I think it makes itself. I've never done it, but it's always made when I look at it.

Wouldn't think of not making it! Our bedroom is off the living area and I often leave the door open. It must look tidy IMHO...

Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of May 2019. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2019 to be back to below 155.

No. That would drive my husband batty rather than happy. His back is in such a condition that he often has to go lie down just to stretch, or get it to pop.
It's always been that way....but I prefer it made.
My mom always said if you want your house to look clean, the first thing to do is make your bed.
Probably the second is WASH THE DISHES.

We have two dogs here one is ours and the other is the guy that rents our basement from us.....they spend the day in my bed while i am on the computer. I pull it up but dont make it everyday...starting to get where most chores really strain my breathing and it almost takes longer to recover from the chore then to do it.....

I was taught to air the bed, so the covers are thrown back so they can air. Weather or not they get maid before bed really depends on the day, since the bed needs to air several hours.

No, but I don't use it a lot. I have trouble sleeping there and sleep on the recliner.

I do because for me it's a matter of discipline. Besides, it makes me feel good when I walk in the bedroom & see it all made up. It doesn't take much.
