Charlotte you are sure a busy lady. Makes me feel like a slug with all the activities you are involved in on top of all the work of the farm. I really admire you!!!!
Lauretta, Dexter sounds like he is doing well. We all hope it continues. Lucky you for having a son who can train you. What a bonus!!!
Steph, glad the surgery is over and DH is on the mend. Just think by September when he was suppose to,have the surgery, this will all be in the past. Sending healing vibes his way!!
Glad to hear you are feeling better Judith!
Today I am not going to the gym as I have an Apple training class on ICLOUD. I know it is there and my stuff gets saved to it but I have no idea how it works so I am off to educate myself.
Have a good day all!!!

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would give you all an update on My Dexter.
Well he does have Cancer and because of this his immune is really low and has developed quite a bad infection as well.
However the good news is he is responding to the antibiotics So it is possible that we may be able to win the battle I am trying to focus on the positives as much as I can.
The doctor said that it is encouraging that he responded to the antibiotic so quick he had massive swelling in his lymph nodes in his neck and shoulders and his left back leg. He had a shot at the vets on Tuesday I woke up Wednesday morning and his swelling had drastically reduced compared to Tuesday. Today I went to pick up his medication he is on 750 mg of antibiotics twice a day mind you he is 134 pounds so he is a big boy.
He will be on them for 14 days and then we will plan our next course of action depending on how he is.
The vet said he is against aggressive chemo treatments for a couple of reasons he said first of all they tend to make the dog really sick, they are really expensive and he said they may only extend his life by a couple of months and he is sick the whole time with all the side effects.
He said he had a dog that belonged to a Ranger in Banff National Park who had cancer They treated this dog with Steroids he said they do have side effects but nothing compared to chemo drugs and he said the dog lived a good life for 2 more years.
So there is no way I am giving up hope I have been searching intensely too on some Natural remedies that I could do at home to help fight off the cancer cells.
I found a few good local websites and a few of them have said the same thing for one treatment they said to give flax seed oil daily to gradually work it up the 6 teaspoons I think it was a day some say to just add it to his food another one said to give too him with a little cottage cheese.
The Vet said his protein is low which is caused by the cancer so I am going to take a look at some better options for his food Maybe there is something better out there that all 3 of my babies can have.
The vet promotes Royal Canine Brand I am going to Check out the Blue Brand they advertise on tv and whatever else is out there to see if there is a food that contains a little more protein or at least contains more natural foods.
So that is where I am at. Thank you everyone for sending Dexter your healing energy I truly believe that focusing on the positive a being focused on his healing makes a big difference so thank you to all.

On a Positive note I am starting to Mentor a colleague at work which is something I have been working on and getting approval for an so on and it was all a go last week So tomorrow is the the first big day. The lady I am mentoring is super excited as well which is great. So I will let you all know how the first session goes.
And my wonderful son is doing some weight training with me he has done it for years and I asked him if he would train me so my first session was tonight we did a 45 min workout and he focused on the arms tomorrow I do Cardio then Saturday we focus on the legs Sunday Cardio and Monday the back I love him but I think tomorrow I may not like him so much lol But I love the fact that he is taking the time to train me he is really good and knows his stuff so I am very grateful.
Have a Great night and a Great Day tomorrow everyone

Threatening rain & thunderstorms mean no more mowing tonight. Have to finish around the houses - any more delay & we'll have to use the hay mower and baler emoticon So great to see everything green and blossoming. Feeling a little sore after yesterday's exercise extravaganza, so just did the usual housework routine. The mudroom is almost back together - just have to paint & rehang the door & put the shelves & hooks back up.
Donna - what kind of workouts do you do? You're so disciplined about it emoticon
Heather - emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon four happy dances underway in your honour (one for each lost pound) You sound so relieved to be off that pesky plateau.
Anjay - your new garden is going to pop after that rain - great timing!
Steph - hope your hubby's surgery goes well tomorrow. Will be thinking of you both.
Lauretta - healing vibes going out the Dexter too. These critters do become family & it's so hard on everyone when they're sick.
Time to finish up some paperwork for the church's Bike/Walkathon on Sunday, then look at some music for the Father's day service on the 15th. Nearly a dozen yard sales advertised for this w/e too - I'm trying hard to resist but.... emoticon

Charlotte lucky you having that massage. You work so hard around your farm so we all think you deserve it. Hope you had a great sleep.
Anjay, hope the garden is smiling. You can water all you want but the rain seems to do so much better.
WHOOHOO Heather on your weight loss. Good for you!!! I know we try not to focus on the scale but we sure like it when it moves. One steak for you and your boys....gotta love it.
Steph, that is awesome news that your DH is getting his surgery right away. He will be so happy when it is done and life is back to normal for him. My girlfriend had her surgery three years ago and she is walking over 10,000 steps most days. He will be back to his old self before you know it.
Lauretta, so sorry to hear about Dexter. I hope you get good news from the vet!!!!
It is such a nice day here and I had a chance to walk a little outside this afternoon when I was shopping. Had a good workout this morning so it has been a good day. Gotta get those minutes in!,,,
So just relaxing with a cup of tea before I make supper.
Have a good evening all!!!

Hi Everyone,

Heather- Congrats on the loss good for you!!!

It has been another rough week for me uggg I just would like things to go smooth for me just for a little while. Now my one dog is really sick the vet said it is possible he may have cancer. I am hoping any praying that it is only an infection his lymph nodes in his neck and shoulders are very swollen as well as the nodes in his back leg. I am waiting for a call from the vet today to find out his results from yesterdays testing.
Dexter is my baby I have been just sick to my stomach over this his breathing is laboured because the swelling is causing pressure on his windpipe.
So needless to say I have had a fair amount of stress lately and few sleepless nights.
But I am doing my best to try to focus on the positive and focus n his healing.

But I best get at it I too have to work afternoons today so I best get things in order
Have a great day everyone and send positive thoughts to my Dexter and hope for a speedy recovery

Good Morning ladies...

Rain down here today.....and also it will be my last day of work for a few days....my dh got a call that there was a cancellation so now he can get his hip surgery done tomorrow instead of waiting until Sep....when he went in Feb to get his surgery date he was doing poorly...but lately he has been suffering a lot so I'm happy that now he will have it done 3 months sooner......

emoticon Heather on the weight loss.....

Hope everyone is having a good day...I'm heading to the library after work to get some books...tomorrow's going to be a long day sitting at the hospital......

Morning Ladies

Back to work today, for some reason I am dreading it today....just don't want to be there. Oh well, the 6/49 hasn't come in, so I guess it's back to work.

I've been trying to get the family to eat less meat as well. We don't usually have meatless meals but I have found that if I prepare things right, we cut the portion size of meat down per person. By cutting the steak and incorporating into the kabobs I stretched 1 steak for the 3 of us.

So the scale finally moved - I dropped 4 lbs over the past two weeks. I'm at 52lbs down now. I'm really really glad because despite tracking the measurements etc I needed the boost of seeing those numbers move.

Have a great day...time for me to hit it.....

Having a pool of any sort close by is a real bonus, but one with an "elevator floor" is a real find! What a great idea. Today after an hour long massage therapy session & 45 minutes of aquacise, all my muscles and joints feel like rubber. Early night ahead emoticon

Hi all, Steph I live in the burbs but I am lucky to have a Y close by and I definitely use it a lot.
It was great when I was having knee problems and I could use the pool. Our Y has a warmer pool that has a floor that moves up so people who can't climb in the pool can just walk in and the floor lowers. It is wonderful for people who use walkers. Awesome!!!! This is where they have an aquasize class called Gentle Joints. I was very lucky to have this option.
Anjay enjoy your little trip with your friend.
Steph you are so lucky to have daughters close by. I know you really appreciate it.
Today is pretty low key day. Just some housework and some form of exercise.
Also I am going out for dinner with friends to celebrate one of the girls completion of six months of chemo. Hopefully the cancer is gone but she won't find out for awhile when she has her CT scan. Such a worry.....
So hope you all have a good day.

Morning all...loving these warm sunny days lately...going outside for a walk later....

Anjay your rock garden was lovely...I'm sure when your flowers start to bloom it will be fragrant and colorful....

Heather spending time with your sons is great.....I love it when its just me and my girls going shopping (I have 2 adult daughters, 36 & 32 years old)...

Donna you are doing great with your excising wish I had a Y near me...but we live in the suburbs and the Y is downtown in the city...........

Lin your plants I'm sure keep you very busy...I just have a few potted herb plants for cooking in the summer...but I love the fragrance that they give off.....

Charlotte we have mosquitoes galore down here...living in the humid great lakes area they are a constant pain...I'm always looking on the web to find natural ways of getting rid of them....some work but most do not.....

Laurette good for you on making healthy vegetarian meals...I do not eat much meat and prefer veggie meals......love beans of all kind....that helps with recipes....

To everyone have a great day and take care....

Anjay, checked out the rock garden pics......nice. It will be lovely when everything blooms.
Heather, just you and your boys for dinner is nice. And what a smart voy to pick such a yummy dinner. I think I will join you!!!
Had a good workout today and part of the class we went outside. The Y where I go,has a track on the roof and an area where we can do exercises so we were up there for about 20 minutes. Don't you just love this nice weather!!! This afternoon I finally booted myself in the butt and went to the driving range. That's a pretty good workout too. In between was the usual housework. No rest for the wicked!!!!

Happy Monday Ladies!
It's a gorgeous day...my 'saturday'. I had a little sleep in and have puttered around the house prepping for my son's 19th birthday dinner.

Thankfully he chose steak with shrimp & veggie kabobs, pretty easy, healthy & sure tasty - perfect for a patio dinner.

Hubby is away in Collingwood on a job tonight, and my stepson is at his mom's - so it's just me and my boys. Kinda nice in a way to have just the three of us - like old times.

Hope you all have a fantastic day - enjoy the sunshine!

I have posted a blog about my rock garden. We too had a great weekend, yesterday was beautiful and my family and I got out and did lots of weeding etc, it is starting to look good out there, we bought almost 2 years ago, this is a difficult task as this property was left to its own devices for around 10 years or so.

Charlotte I am not, happy to,hear that the mosquitoes are out already. We are going to Manitoba in early July and I don't want to have to worry about them critters!!! Your garden sounds yummy. Fresh asparagus.....yum....I can't even imagine how good,it would taste fresh from the garden. Lucky you.
Linn, sorry to hear you are not pleased with your plant sale. All that work but I guess it just is the year and being so late.

Anjay - looking forward to seeing pics of your new rock garden I need to get down on my knees and lift the rocks in mine - they bury themselves a bit more each year.

Charlotte - the sale didn't go as well as I hoped. A group here (Plants for Peterborough on Facebook) get together a few times a year and swap things and the next is Sat 7 June so I'll load up the car and take what's left over to the swap. I've already given several to 2 kids who are life guards at the Y pool I go to and are just starting up with their own houses, and 3 flats full of ground cover plants to a friend who is trying to replace the grass in a deep ditch.

We've been doing a lot of gardening and just planted a new bed in the front on our boulevard. They look so sparse until the plants take off but it will come.

Hope everyone has a great week.

A beautiful day here too - gorgeous sun & a light breeze to keep the mosquitoes away (yep, they're baaaack!) Just in from picking asparagus for supper - lightly steamed with black pepper emoticon yum. Also the rhubarb patch is kicking in - I've made 2 crisps for the freezer & stewed some to mix with yoghurt. The flowering crabapples, wild plums, saskatoons and hawthorns are all in bloom - the perfume is doing a great job beating back the less pleasant aromas from the pig barn just north of us. (northeast wind today) Still haven't finished putting in the veggie garden - dh needs to till some more & he's still busy with seeding. Made good progress on the lawn with the riding mower yesterday - getting on was a little tricky, but once going, my hip didn't mind it at all. So much for that excuse! Looks like the job's all mine. emoticon
Lauretta - sounds like your vegetarian adventure is going well. I must try quinoa some day.
Happy rest of the weekend, everyone!

Good Saturday morning everyone. Busy spring-times on the farm so haven't been Sparking much ... and the scales are showing it emoticon but that's another story! I so empathize with your "ounces lost/pounds gained" comment Steph. My Spring 5% Challenge final weighin this morning was not pretty emoticon took me seven weeks to lose 4.5 lbs and one week to gain 5. Grrrr, emoticon grump emoticon arrghhh emoticon There, that feels better. Now back to the drawing board....

Point Pelee sounds like a perfect place to be right now. However, I have another date with the riding mower, then some more cleaning for company. Sil & hubby are arriving 2 weeks later than expected, but I can't slack off...

Anjay - rock gardens are so pretty. What plants did you put in? And speaking of plants, Lin - hope your sale went well.

Donna, Judith, Heather, Gail, Pat, Sue, Florence, Gini... have a great weekend.

Steph, I certainly know how you feel. I love to do things but my DH has trouble walking. It's not fun going by yourself and I don't want to go without him. He would feel the same way if it was me. Maybe a little drive would be good......
It is such a lovely day here today so I am trying to decide what I want to do. Certainly not staying in that is for sure.
I did not get to my goal this challenge but I am still within my maintenance goal so I am happy especially after last weekend. So all is good for me from the challenge!

Good Morning all.....

Yes Donna I joined the summer challenge...even though I did not loose anything with the spring challenge I find it keeps me from going berserk....I tend to gain the pounds in multiples and loose in ounces lately...must be my age.....hate that one bad day of eating negates all the work I've done to loose.....needed this rant...sorry guys.....

Well better get my day started...no gks today 5 are on vacation with their parents and the last one has relatives from out of town down.....so today my dh and I are on our own so I'm trying to talk him into going to Pointe Pelee National Park.....beautiful area with biking trails, canoeing, hiking trails, etc...will see how he feels...his arthritic hip keeps him from doing lots of activities....take care all and have a great day...awesome weather down here!

Steph, have you signed up for the Summer Challenge? I seem to remember that you did. I am in again. Keeps me honest. This is going to be a busy summer as we will be gone for a little over a month. We are off to Winnipeg again for my Mom's service then a family wedding. We are hoping to catch up with some friends that we have not been able to see for quite awhile. The last few years when we went home I was spending lots of time with my Mom so the other things got put aside. So this trip will be a little different.
Been to the gym the morning so that is good to have that done. Now I am washing, etc. just catching up around the house. DH is napping. He is not feeling well so I am taking him to the doctor this afternoon. I am a bit worried as he seems to be congested and with having CHF this is not good. So we will see....

Stephanie: I just Googled "heart pillow" and one of the items that came up was a YouTube video on how to make one. The address for the video is
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09tAVWwtHzU

Although Donna's suggestion is the best.

Good luck with it.

Steph, check with the hospital and see if they give one to the patients before you go out and buy it.
Glad your weather is cooperating. We have to take advantage of it when we can.
Today I did not golf and I really miss the long walk and exercise. It's pretty hard to make up an eight mile walk. So I am doing some cleaning and vacuuming. Darn maid didn't show up again!!! emoticon

Afternoon ladies...thought I'd catch up on all your busy lives while I had a minute...enjoy being outdoors these days...but today I think I over did it and am very tired...

Yes Donna the heart pillow I'm looking for is for a relative that is going for open heart surgery...hope to get one that's not too expensive...the ones I've found so far are quite pricey....so I'm going to take Lin's suggestion and look on You Tube to see if I can make one......

Good luck with the vegetarian meals....take care everyone!

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for all of your support I am really excited about starting the mentoring program next week!
I have had a really busy week thus far this week at work I am looking forward to this weekend that is for sure.
I have some household things to take care this weekend like laundry and grocery shopping.

Say do any of you have any good ideas for vegetarian lunches? My so has made the choice to go vegetarian for 1 year on his birthday 2 weeks ago It has been going really well and since we share a house and I mostly do the shopping and cooking I have more less followed suit. But the problem I have started to run into is lunches for work. I am not wanting to do sandwich's all the time and I want to mix it up a bit I have been doing a lot of salads and veggie based soup I have made veggie chili, Lasagna spaghetti. But again I do not want to eat a lot of pasta salads are great but again too much of good thing can get tiresome.
I have gone on sparkrecipies but have not found too much variety there as of yet.
If any one has any suggestions I would love to hear about them
Cheers to you all and Happy Sparking

When my DH had his open heart surgery the hospital gave him a heart pillow which he used after his surgery. If he had to cough or move he would hold it against his chest.
I have been missing as once again if I don't post each day I am dropped . I guess when we were away this weekend I missed catching up with you guys. So I am back!!!!
Gym today and a little, grocery shopping. I am suppose to golf tomorrow but it looks like rain and I don't gold in the rain...sprinkles OK...rain not so much!!!

Stephanie - I had never heard of a "heart pillow" so I googled it. It seems it's just for decoration? There are patterns and even a You Tube video on how to make them

Lauretta - great mentoring idea and yes, please, keep us up to date on how it works. This is a great way to work towards your goal of being a life coach - small more easily achieveable goals are the key and this is a wonderful step from the sounds of it.
Heather - congrats for your son! My husband was in the Army Reserves here in Peterborough for 12 years. He now belongs to the Regimental Association and we go to their annual meeting and reunion each Oct. He's also involved in a committee with a former commander and a couple of guys he used to serve with to plan and host a Militaria sale and show every Sept/Oct. I get mustered in to work the refreshment table.

I haven't done too much of my art work lately but I did make a fairy garden. I'm going to post a picture on my SparkPage. I posted a pic but it wasn't easy to make out so I cropped it into 2 larger pics and brightened it - at least you can make out the fairies now. I set it all up as a patio scene but then couldn't find fairies I could actually put on the chairs I had so I had to improvise - such is life, lol.

Good Morning all,

Lin we definitely have rain down here...it rained here yesterday with more to come today.....also I was wondering if you ever came across a heart pillow...will need to buy one in the future and the ones I'm seeing on line are quite pricey......

Laurette if I was crafty like you I could probably sew one (a heart pillow)...but sewing has never been something I could master...my mom bought me a sewing machine years back and then took it back from me because of lack of use.....LOL...great idea about the mentoring program...it's definitely a win win situation for everybody involved!

Heather congrats to your son on his promotion in Army Cadets.....

Charlotte we had to have 100+ year old oak trees removed from our front yard ....it broke my heart to have to have them cut down but they started to die after we built our home.....the arborist said it was root damage from the excavating ......

Well we finally turned on our A/C last night...even with the fans on in the house it was just getting to muggy and steamy.....hope you all have a great day.....Anjay, Pat, Donna...and all else reading these posts...take care.

Hi everyone!!!
Oh Man!! I am so grateful for all my Spark buddies!!! Thank you so much for your helpful tips to help me heat my home gym this winter!!

Anjay I think I may just be going with your idea on the propane heaters!!! Thank you very much!!

KS- Well I didn't get to my crafting as I had planned I ended up cutting the grass and working in the flower beds on Sunday.
But I have been thinking about making a few things The one is a meditation pillow I have been looking at some really nice ones and thought I can make my own for a fraction of the cost.

The next thing is some curtains for my bedroom and Kitchen. Then after that I am going to try my hand at making some tank tops.

NOW Keep in mind I am not a very good sewer so the tops may be a challenge lol
A good friend of mine bought me a sewing machine for my birthday and I have been quite proud of the items I have made so far The machine came with a DVD so that really helped me a great deal. So far I made a Yoga bag for my mat. I made myself a house coat I actual took the one I had that worn so thin its was about ready to fall apart if I washed it again so I took it all apart and used the pieces as a pattern and made a new one It turned out pretty good actually I surprised myself.

Heather- That brings back some Memories I was in Air Cadets as a kid( a long long time ago lol) with my step brother.
Lol it was not my thing but my step brother has been a pilot in the Canadian Air Force for the last 20 years or more
It is such a great program and gives the kids so many opportunities.

But I had a Great Day today too! At work there is a mentorship program for new agents coming to work in our dept I think it is a great idea but the one thing I always thought that was missing was a program for tenured agents. Now our dept is about 80% young people but things change so fast and it is sometimes overwhelming for older agents that just don't learn as fast as the 19 and 20 year olds! So I sent a proposal to my manager and said I will volunteer some of my own time to mentor a tenured agent who is really struggling and open to some support. And I said I will do this for 2 months of that agent shows great improvement in that time then I asked him for support in starting a program for the tenured agents. HE LOVED IT!! and gave me the green light to do this I have an agent that I will start working with next week!!! I am really excited about this and the agent too is just as excited as I am
See My goal that I am working towards is becoming a life coach I have been taking some self awareness type courses for my own growth but I thought hey this is a way that I could help someone now!! I am not a life coach and this not coach about life but it is still strengthen my skills for coaching someone by being their mentor!!
So the way I see it this is a win win situation all the way around.

I will keep you all posted as to how it goes n the next while

Got a little proud news tonight...my son Brennan was promoted to Warrant Officer on his last night in the Canadian Army Cadet Corps. He turns 19 next Tuesday and ages out of the program but the CO saw fit to squeak this last promotion in on time. He was really happy....next Saturday is the Annual Parade. They are letting him participate but sadly he can't appear in uniform.

He does have a meeting with the CO for one of the Reserve units, and will probably be going that route while in college.....he has loved his time in Cadets so much...sad to see it end, but at least he went out with a bang!

I've been busy getting ready for my plant sale this weekend. We also finished, well almost, the new lily bed in our front boulevard. it still needs mulch. I'll have to get some after my sale. It looks kind of sparse at first but will fill out. I've been spending an hour or 2 every day out in the garden. I've got my planters and window boxes done and this year I did a bag planter. I haven't been able to go to Heart Rehab last week because of my cold and this week I still have a cough so still can't go. The nurse running it says she can add the days I miss to the beginning of the next program so that's good.

27 here today and steamy. We were to get rain but haven't. It would be nice. I've had to water every day because of the annuals and the lilies I've planted. No rain on the charts until Monday.

Anjay - definitely want to see pics of the new kitchen.

Lauretta - great idea for your home gym. What crafts are you thinking of sewing?

Heather - after 11 hrs. a quiet night sounds great. We refused to put the AC on too. I've got a fan going. I've been relying on my tape measurer as well as my weight is up and down - up 4 whole lbs. today yet every day I'm burning more cals than I'm eating - my nurse says my metabolism is next to nil.

Stephanie - we've had pretty great weather too. Just need some rain. Charlotte - maybe you can send some of yours our way.

Have a good week everyone.

Hi Ladies!

It's a steamy one today though I refuse to turn on the A/C...we've complained about the cold for so long it's kind nice being warm. I opened every window and the breeze is blowing....it's beautiful!

Have a great day!

Good Morning all,

The weather down here has been awesome.....great for biking and walking....my dh bought a jelled seat for my bike so it makes it nice and comfy for those long bike rides....

Great idea Lauretta for making your garage into a gym...would love to do that with my garage but my dh has other ideas...like keeping his tools allover the garage floor, but sometimes I can get my car in but not always.....

Hope everyone is enjoying this great weather take care everyone.

Good morning all. With all the rain that's fallen in the past 2 days, it may be time to start laying the keel for an ark! On the bright side, all plant life is just exploding - I swear I can see the rhubarb growing. Warm & sunny promised for a few days so will try to get the garden hoed and potatoes planted. Very tempting to make today a pj day - all the snoring cats around are not setting a good example - but too many chores calling my name! One week till sil & hubby arrive & I have to finish cleaning up the guest house for them. Also time to put the mudroom back to rights after painting. A landscaping company is stopping by tonight to give us an estimate on tree removal (8 old & dying Manitoba maples) so busy day ahead.

Happy hunting on freecycle, Lauretta. Kiijii (hope spelling is right) is a great site too. Also yard sales. And bulletin boards in seniors apartment buildings. Possibilities are endless.

emoticon to Donna, Anjay, Pat, Heather, Judith, Stephanie, Lin et al. Let's get out there and wallow in spring! It's finally here. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hey Heather,

Thank you so much for those tips. I am for sure going to check that out both of those ideas
It would be really nice to be able to use the home gym all year round that is for sure.

And I will for sure be checking out freecycle.ca right away. I have been looking on line at spin bikes and almost passed out!! I cant believe how expensive they are so even if I could find a used one for a good price I would be happy with that as well but who knows maybe I can find some good items from freecycle as well.
Thank you so much

Lauretta - I used to live in an old farmhouse with lousy heating and we purchased a plug in oil radiant heater from Canadian Tire.

Looks like a radiator on wheels, didn't suck huge amounts of electricity and warmed up our basement room wonderfully - I highly recommend it.

Don't forget to check out freecycle.ca to see if you can locate some exercise equipment that you can probably pick up for free....just for going to get it. I gave away my recumbent bike years ago because I had moved to an apartment and just didn't have space for it anymore. I so wish I could have stored it now!

Sounds fabulous - happy home gym-ing!

Hi Everyone,

Well the Garage is Complete!!! Yay!!! It looks so good! I got the weight bench set up properly now that there is the right amount of room for it. Even have the mini bar fridge set up for bottles of water!!
There are 2 more items we will be purchasing now that we have the room. A Spin Bike and a Row Machine. I figure with the money we are NOT spending on Gym fees we can put towards those 2 items.

I just wish there was a way to heat in the winter The house is really old and the electrical is not the best I bought a floor heater last winter and it kept blowing the breaker so I guess that Idea is out.

Oh well at least we have a few good months now to use the garage with any luck Calgary will have a better winter this year.

Now I am putting my feet up and watching a movie I used muscles today I forgot I had but they are telling me they are there now!!!

Tomorrow I plan to do a day of crafting now that all the major work is done I hear my sewing machine calling my name!!

I hope you all are having a good weekend

Heather 11 hrs WOW you deserve to relax after a shift like that!!

Mime- Yes my sons loves the home gym idea too. He does the P90X program so he loves having everything all set up out there with tons of room.
We are going to set up a tv and DVD player out there too so he can follow his videos
