@WATCHDARIDE1 - yes, actually I do. I do mostly weight lifting exercise. Muscle development is very important for women, especially as they get older. Lack of muscle can lead to osteoporosis as well as becoming frail when older. I'm trying to avoid that at all costs.
When losing most of my 122 lbs, I was doing 1 to 2 gym workouts a week. Nothing crazy. And then I would take walks, etc just for enjoyment.
I've just started a program where I am in the gym 6 days a week. It's quite extreme, and not necessary for weight loss. But I have other goals along with that. And I find I'm really enjoying it!

Hey Watch - no need to chase ketones. Higher ketone readings don't mean more weight loss. You're in nutritional ketosis... so keep doing your thing! emoticon

I know I'm late to this party but, wanted to throw in my $0.02!

I have been doing Keto OMAD (one meal a day). I eat my macros between 11am and 1pm. I find it makes things much easier at night. I can do whatever I need to do without having to worry about what to eat, etc etc. I just make sure all my stuff is prepped for the next day and move along.

I'm having to move away from OMAD due to a new program I'm doing (can't fit all the protein I need into one meal lol). But I'm still going to stick with an earlier eating window, similar to yours. 8am - 2pm. Then I'm done! Just make sure you're getting electrolytes in. helps with the hunger pangs that you get at first. But they go away!

Actually, I read some research that showed fabulous results for people who had an early eating window, I think it was 8am-2pm, but there's no reason that 6am-2pm wouldn't work.

I'm one of the folks on here who does IF, plus I'm a biologist so I know all the biochemistry behind it. I prefer later, so I intake calories from ~10am-7pm, although my 10am item is a high fat tea, I don't start solid or carb intake until noon. I get up between 5-6am, but I do my whole morning routine (exercise included) while fasting, I feel so much better that way, but everyone has their own deal.

we dont suggestt fasting on this team..but if you want to do it thats your choice...I dont know why you couldnt set your window any time you wish. there is a lot of data showing that breakfast is the most important meal, and should also be your biggest meal, so that should help with having that.
again..if you choose to fast, i have never seen anything saying there are specific times you need to do it...i think you are fine!
