I go to the gym on Mon. Wed. and Fri...I love spin class but rotate with the elipical with arms. Every morning I do a pilaties workout with stretch bands. My pilates workout has 3 workouts-upper body, lower body, and abs. I like to rotate---it's only 24 minutes but when your done with the stretch you know you have worked out!

I joined a gym while on vacation during the week of Thanksgiving. After going four days in a row that week, I determined that working out every other day would work better. So, on the way home from work I stop at the gym. I'm doing 20 minutes on the treadmill followed by 1 set of 12 reps on the following machines - overhead press, chest press, seated row, arm curls, and triceps. Since I have very bad knees, I'm doing leg extensions, leg curls, hip flexion (abduction and adduction) without weights, just using body weight for 1 set of 12 reps.

I'm really enjoying the workouts.

I have been Sparking for about 15 months now.

I have lost about 49 pounds, I am almost to goal, but haven't quite got there and I fight the same few pounds over and over. I think I need to pay more attention and be more consistent like I was in the beginning.

My general plan is that I exercise with my Wii every morning. I switch around my programs occasionally, and I do some other exercise too. I did do a C25K program and ran a few 5Ks this summer. I also use a fitbit and try to get 10,000 steps per day.

Every day, every week, and every month is a new chance to make a difference -- in your life, in your self, and in others.

What works for you? What types of exercise do you enjoy? How do you make time to work out? I am currently doing Couch to 5k three times a week, along with a strength and flexibility program twice a week, and pilates and yoga once a week each. I am also on a quidditch team (yes, the sport from Harry Potter; no, we can't fly--yet emoticon ). I prefer to exercise first thing in the morning; by the evening, I'm tired and it's too easy to not do it.
