Happy Saturday to ALL SPARKERS!!! I am getting ready to take my morning walk with my dog. We walk for 30 minutes and stop to smell the roses and everything else along our way. I also try to find a ray of sunshine and turn my face to smile at it and thank God for all the many BLESSINGS in my life. emoticon

hoping you have some blessings to count.

1. Do a Minimum of 10 minutes of Fitness Exercise DAILY and Check-In with 4 Peas in a Pod DAILY!!
2. Continues Healthy eating Habits, this includes eating 5 Fresh Fruits and Vegetables DAILY.
3. Drink 8 glasses of Water Daily
4. Continue Strength Training
5. Lose 31 pounds

I have been a walking fool as of late. Walking is addictive. Yesterday was by the River, today meandered through the sweetest little neighborhood with 1920s houses aligning the streets. It was a fun walk. Oddly enough I met lots of people as it was a friendly little berg with a lot of history.

We are doing GREAT. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. emoticon

We are having warm weather clear and in the 70's. I took two 40+ walks today. I walk everywhere I go and today had two places to go to. I ride the bus and the light rail but still have walking to do. In the morning I went to the bank and the leasing office to pay rent. And than after a lunch at home of a Lean Cuisine entree I went to the supermarket. I was tired but my leg doesn't hurt. I think it is on the mend. I never did get the PT I wanted for my bad knee. I need to see the doc to request it again now that I changed insurance. I have an appointment to see her in a few weeks.

I love walking in the rain. Some times it is nice with no wind so i just take an emoticon but when it is not calm I have a pink poka dotted poncho to wear.

Walking around my old neighborhood to run a few errands. We are maybe having rain today.

@DEE107 I hope your foot feels better soon. You did well to do 5,000 steps with it!

We were to have rain today, but it's snowing instead! I'm using my recumbent bike and my Tread Climber inside instead of going outside.

Let's encourage each other as we incorporate daily walking into our exercise routine! Try to get as many steps as possible, but take into consideration your level of health. An able bodied person could aim for 10,000 steps per day while a person who is disabled person may only be able to do 1,000 steps. Just do the best you can and gradually try to increase your steps a bit each week or two.
