No I don't. But would like to, but only if my husband would join with me. And we could afford it and have time to go. Maybe once he retires in a couple years. In the meantime, I do my exercises and ST at home for now.

Success seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit.--Conrad Hilton

I do belong to a gym but have not gone lately. This has been one crazy thing after another for the whole late Winter and Spring. I am going to start going again on my off days from work so we will see how that goes. I live in a small town and luckily we have one here and it is mostly folks in their 60's and 70's that attend. It is a quiet one and I can get in and do what I want and when I want without waiting for something to clear up. Right now my feet, in particular my heels have been killing me and it is really tough to be standing or walking. I am going to try and go do the seated machines for now.

If you have a 3 months trial I would go for it. Hope it all works out for you.

I don’t belong to a gym any more, even though there’s one across the street from my home. There’s only one reason - if I don’t have a scheduled class to attend, I procrastinate going to the point that I stop completely, therefore waste $. I know, I know, they have classes there BUT I prefer water exercise and they don’t have a pool.
Instead, I sign up for aquafit classes at my local community centre. It’s a bit more expensive but having a class that I directly paid for seems to motivation enough to get up and go.
I’m not saying not to join, I’m just saying why I don’t join any more. We all need to know ourselves and do what works for our own life.
Good luck, Karen

Sounds like a great plan! It is neat that you can do the membership for 3 months.

I've set up my home gym simply because I don't have transportation to go elsewhere. I have some dumbells, a rebounder, treadmill, heavy bag, speed bag, resistance bands & cords, and work out videos, as well as regularly using YouTubes.

Poor one to ask. I havent been to the gym since January. But a 3 month trial will probably tell you if you will use it or not. GO FOR IT

I am seriously thinking about getting a 3 month gym membership. I belonged to this gym 2 years ago and enjoyed my time there.
But after 6 weeks or so I started to peeter off and skip it most days.
I dont want that to happen again.
I like the strength training machines and treadmill and exercise bike.
The other people working out around me motivate me and inspire me but I dont want to lose interest after 6 weeks 😔
I will still be attending my yoga class 3x week. Do you think joining the gym might be too much right now ?
