My niece has some dandees! NONE of me. Sadly, I think I couldve found some authentic period clothes in the attic. I loved those JAMS, and balloon workout pants. I did bodybuilding in the early 90's. LOL Never got too far with that, but for some reason kept a bunch of the clothes. Wonder what it will be like when our kids have "throwback" day at school?? LIke take just an old fashioned "regular" cell phone and VHS movie!
Hang in there Janet, only 3 more days! You just give us the word and we can swoop in and rescue you. Christina can fly the chopper, Doro and Heather can ride the rope down for ya. Guess that lets Cynd and I to create a distraction for Tim and kids...Hmmm, what could we come up with?

Doro-GROSS. You are a good sport! Bad smells do me in! Hugs on t'storm tormenting the dogs. Mine is very hard of hearing lately, but still senses them. I will send my kids with you to the amusement parks-I HATE rollercoasters and I don't think I could breathe even if the kids went on it without me. Roller skates/roller coasters...hmm, where's LISA and the couch: i must have a rollerphobia.
Cynd-Grape stomping sounds like an odd hobby for a kid. Hope you got taste some 1st. I didn't know FL had mountains...as far as being mistaken for 27--Tim pointed out to me today that the bridal party had a pyramid of Heinekin bottles as tall as him...he likes to deflate my balloon, pluhhh.
I better get a flatiron. My hair is NOTHING like last night. I was freaking out this am. The color was obviously darker than I realized and now I look mousey brown with gray squiggles again--bummer...and wave/body. Like my hair is FREE to flip all which way to Sundays.

Yep...heleft me with 2 dogs,a disrespectful son and a dd loaded with attitude. They are off on a walk so I am enjoying the quiet. Did I say we are covered in dirt? I believe that ranks right up there for me with tent sleeping and sinus trouble from smoke. Okay...I will try to be nice!

Kelly......I would have enjoyed that party! How fun!!" Did you get a photo for us?

Hi girls. Bet you will never guess what I did today--90's throwback rollerskateing party. Leggins, sparkly gems around our eyes, glow jewlery, and side ponytails! It was my niece in-laws(?) 25 birthday and I think the whole thing was done to look good on facebook! She wouldve been in elem. for alot of the 90's...I was working fulltime hygiene/pt paramedic so I had trouble relating!! Kids LOVED it--and cool skater dude Tim was impressing the chics half his age! Glad my SIL was there praying he didn't dislocate anything! The limbo had be worried. I didn't even put any on. Never could skate.
Janet--you mean he LEFT you alone in the woods, at a campsite!!! What on earth...I'd be fit to be tied! So did he get stakes and a steak?? He best brought something wonderful back for you.

We are here in God's beautiful dirt. LOL. The site is nicer than last year as it is larger and has some grass. Not much though. It is directly across from the one last year. Better area for the dogs definitely. Off to get the tent up. Tim had to go into town for stakes. Hmmmmmmmm

I running amok.

Long weekend and I'm tired. L had his 6th birthday on Thursday when we also had to do the meet, greet, and drop off school supplies. He's been wanting to go grape stomping so we took him on Saturday as part of his birthday. He enjoyed it, but I wasn't thrilled with the overall experience. We drove around a little in the area - drove up Sugar Loaf Mountain (in Florida, who knew?). I can't wait until I am good enough on the bike to tackle it. We went bike riding today, and then I mowed as well. Now, I'm so tired I can hardly see straight.

Kelly - I bet your hair looks gorgeous and to be mistaken for a 27 year old - wow. I always have a hard time trying to figure out how I want my cut and the hair around the face can be a bit annoying at times.

Green valley ranch---the hotel is NICE. That huge globe looks fun. We can take bets to see who can stay on the longest, while the others spin it as fast as we can. If we move all the ottomans close, we will have padded landing, just like bull ride mania! Ready, set the timer for 8 seconds....

Janet, have fun. "nature" is sometimes alot more work! Tim's boss has a condo in Colo--too bad I couldn't hook ya up! My nephew and his wife were just out. They loved it. I would love it too if it were only 3 hrs instead of 3 days,,,,
I had a whole wedding post and lost it, so guess I will skip it. Great and free wine were the highlights.--speaking of highlights, I didn't get any today because she didnt have time, but did get 13" off (can donate to locks of love), layered, temp color, and eyebrows done for $26. I remembered to tip. I like it, but forgot what it was like to have hair touching my neck/face because mine was always up/back in braid, bun or clip. Liv thinks I look funny, Mom gasped, and a grromsman thought I was my 27 year old nephew's wife (kinda creepy, but flattering).
Christina, another fun filled family day for you and tomorrow sounds like you have it all covered. I so pray Chaz and Liv have youth like your church. It's so important! You are doing God's work in those kids life!!
Doro must be pinning the tail on the donkey still!
I'm off to bed. The "tickle me pink" wine made me sleepy. Tim drove home-I must be a lightweight. He is already snoring-- kids are at mom's and I finally figured out how to put the seats down...all dirt roads coming in from the winery - thought we could break in the new van, hummm, my hubby is just no fun! At least we got to keep our wine glasses, so not a total loss LOL emoticon emoticon

Kelly~Can't wait to see a photo of the new hair!

Christina~That does sound like a very fun party! Enjoy.

The van is 90% packed and I'm so thankful the hubby bought that car topper bag as it held so much! Loaded it with sleeping bags, blankets, towels and jackets. Definitely makes the back of the van easier to pack! Tomorrow we will go to church (early service at one we used to attend years ago) and then come home to finish packing and have a bite to eat before hitting the road. Only about a 3 hour drive. Taking my Chronological Bible (Never did get going on that as I'd planned.) and my book by Sheila Walsh. I'm determined to get some down time somehow! I remember last August it drove me nuts that we're in this "nature place" and I couldn't get a minute to myself.

So...no idea if or when I'll be checking in until Wed. p.m. If not...have a great several days!

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

I tried to get here several times today but it was JAMMED full. I had a friend show up for breakfast. then the shower was here at 2:30. It went really well. Fun meeting everyone from the other family! Then Gary's friend came over to help him cut down a tree. so I had to scramble to get a meal together for them. Everryone is just now leaving.

The theme for the youth kick off is a tailgate party. I am incharge of fruit and veggie trays and bocca burgers. Gary is coming to grill. We are having minute to win it games and parent vs kid games, ending with a time of worship. It will be a great night.

Dorothy~Good to hear you are safe. Saw the reports on the flash flooding!

I got the groceries done yesterday and in a bit I'll take the kids to pick up my dad and head to McD's for awhile. This afternoon will be spent packing once Tim is home from his cheese class. We pulled out a lot of stuff last night so the garage is a mess.

Forgot to fill you in on our weekend plans for Vegas. We are actually spending it at Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa & Casino in Henderson. I have sent Christina the plans for Mon-Wed and I just know you will all behave yourselves in my absence. emoticon

Janet - you are brave us alone - we may end up running amok. Christina is going to have her work cut out. Have fun camping - I know it is one of your faves - lol!!!

Kelly - like Janet said - he will eat when hungry. I would just make sure you have some good healthy snacks around like pudding or cheese sticks - maybe yogurt. Anything that has protein in and make his favorites like the mac and cheese - pb & jelly, hot dogs, pizza - whatever - you can make anything healthy without them realizing. Chocolate milk is a good pretein drink. Was he tested for alergies?? That will make them tired and not hungry!! Thanks for the travel mug - Yummo!! You were going to bed when I was getting up. Too funny!

Christina - What fun. I love famely parties. We are having one next weekend here for Michaels birthday. Of course tomorrow at my daughtes hous for my grand daughters. And today at the amusement park - love spending time with my family!

Pittsburgh trip went well - hubby is doing great. Micahel had a freind spend the night and he is going with us to Waldamere today. Suppose to be nice weather so let the good times roll!!

Kelly~Eventually Chaz will eat. Isaac will do that too and he has learned quickly that he prefers to eat some of what's in front of him instead of being hungry and not receiving snacks.

Dorothy~Busy weekend ahead of you!

Christina~What are you doing for the fall kickoff?

I got the Wii Fit profile set up last night while everyone was gone and got 30 min. of exercise in. My upper arms and hips are still sore! LOL Got the kids set up on it now too. Maegann loves the running one.

Sometime today or tomorrow I have to go grocery shopping so we have what we need for camping (leaving Sunday afternoon and returning Wednesday morning/afternoon). I probably have to take dad to McD's with the kids on Saturday as Tim has a cheese class he's doing. We're going to take laptops as he needs to do work a couple hours each day and I need to check on the homeschool group sign-ups. Should be able to check in once in awhile with you. We'll see! Christina...I'll send you the Vegas events so you can keep us on track just to be safe!

I need help. Chaz infuriates me with his lack of eating. I get worrried about him being malnurished. He would never eat if I didn't force him to and lately it is WAY worse. I have to give him a pep talk, which generally gets more like fury, just to get him to take a few bites. I'm trying a reward chart-AGAIN, but it's so sad to me because he ends up with no stickers on for the day. Making a new one with each specific thing separated out for easier success. I want him to succeed, but he makes it awful difficult on himself. Lunch today was Kraft mac & cheese (a fav) and he just sits there, carries on, chugs his milk (my fault for giviing it to him) and after 15 mins the bowl is untouched. I've tried the take it away--but he wants that. He will do anything to get out of eating, yet if it were a cookie, or snack treat he's find the room. He finally ate the cold, nasty stuff, 45 mins later!--after I had to tell him there would be no sleeping outside tonight, since that is a "reward" activity.NOT happy.

Christina, you amaze me with all your hub of entertainment/hostessing. I should've had more kids! uhhh, not sure if that would wise...I'm thinking i NEED a haircut and highlights for the wedding tomorrow. I'm not at goal, but my hair is more like a tail. I've had it. I like updos, but never take the time to do it, and they charge $40-50. Figure for that, I could get something that will be more practical---any suggestions?

Good morning. Gorgeous morning! Peaches are looking great and the early sun in the orchard is spectacular. Too bad Tim was up and out early-tempting to go for a walk...the kids were in bed, what could happen??? LOL I went to bed at 4:10!! OOPS, I got lost in a book. so today will be a "day off" Right now they are blaring VBS CD and "playing dog" which entails rollling around on the dog bed and coating themselves in hairballs--NO BIGGIE....
Doro, you are on the go already and off & running on a busy weekend. You seem to never let the grass grow under your feet! Hmmm?? How do we salt the rim of a travel mug?--oh skip it, just give ya a refillable large!!!

Christie, I feel bad for you. I'll send you some massaging slippers. Tim isn't into feet either. When I was pregnant with Chaz, my feet swelled and itched. I never had such intense itching, and NOTHING helped. Near the end, I discovered ice packs would at least numb them so I didn't feel the itch, but then they burned. You probably could've heard Tim yell in China when I accidentally (of course, never on purpose!!) touched my ice-pop feet against him.

J. you need to wet the van and chamis (toweldry) it. Just happened to me the other day. Tim re-washed it and wiped it all down with one of those "miracle towels". He is a true sucker for any info-mercial item or even a flea market knock-off of "as seen on TV" special. But it worked. Thumbs up on their effort!

I have some time to hang out. Tim is watching True Grit---AGAIN. I was going to have a wine cooler until I logged food. He brought me a frappe for supper--no more cals for this gal tonight! I read a thing at Curves-1oz of potato chips, 3/wk = 23,000 cals/yr. In my terms, 1 frappe/wk = 25,000 cals/year and I had 2 this week so far!!! Guess I'm getting back on the wagon before I get too far outa whack.
Christina, get those cabana boys hopping--where's our margaritas?? They don't want us going "lil mommie" on them. Think I'll have a frozen raspberry one to start.
Doro You gotta take a break. Get outa those work clothes, put down the clubs and call anurse in to watch over hubby--we need ya. Don't want Christina drinking your margaritas too.
Janet Come on, give us the mike-we promise, no more "Girls just wanna have fun" we'll sing something else---what do you mean this isn't kareoke night???
Christie, get those legs propped up and let the cabana boys rub those feet! Time for that baby girl to get used to some primpin' and pamperin'!
Heather those calamine bug bites look really cool in the dance lights! Teach us the "benedryl shuffle". What about mixing alcohol and ....?
Cynd better get the room key, Heather's a little drousy zzzzz....a siesta will do her some good. I'll save some nachos for ya.

Christina~Glad the kids are enjoying school.

Heather~I agree...that's a LOT of classes! They don't have all of those every day do they?

Dorothy~Hooray on the stitches coming out tomorrow. Sorry the golf wasn't as good as you'd like. At least you got out!

Sitting here feeling sorry for myself as I missed out on girlfriend time tonight. Oh...and the kids washed the van this afternoon and now the windshield (and everything else) is covered with hard water spots. What on earth do I use to clean those off?! It's horrible!

Hey gals. I'm in time warp, thought I was having an early night, but realize it's already 9! Sent the kids to bed early. They went on a bizarro frenzy and threw plastic food all over the down stairs while I was talking to my "mentor" on the phone. She is a retired teacher/pastor's wife with NO kids. She loves mine, but realizes God knew she wasn't cut out for it 24/7. they also locked me out of the house, and continued to rip stuff up--acting like escaped circus monkeys. I did not yell, just gave out potsticks, showered them and sent both to bed. I don't get it. They know not to do that! Thinking I will put it all in a bag and sit it out beside the garbage cans for awhile. Contemplated making them clean it up, but they were laughing and slap silly, so that wouldve been counterproductive.
Labs are OK so far. I called 4 times and finally they said nothing is marked red(meaning abnormal) and not all are back yet,so that great news, but still remains: what is zapping his energy? Check in with younz later

Can't believe I didnt make it here today!

I had a crazy day. Gary put brand new tires on my truck yesterday and I went to take Benj to school and I had ran over a GIANT bolt thing. ruined my new tire:( Wasted $150!!!UGH then Benj was late for school. I had to work concession stand at the middle school this evening. I am so tired. Boys are doing great so far happy with all the teachers. Benj LOVES big boy school!

Heather how long are the school days? that seems like a lot of classes!

Cynedra it might be good to havesome extra one on one time with your youngest. When I leave Benj at school i just feel lost. There is a need for a reading mentor to work one on one with children at the school so Ithink I will volunteer for that for a few hours a week.

Wow, I can't believe it's already Thursday night. The week has flown by. School start has gone well. Here the kids have the same teachers for several years. Our oldest is in 7th grade and has several new teachers. Here's a list of his classes (every day is different). German, English, Math, History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Sport(PE), Music, Religion, Art, and French. Sounds overwhelming doesn't it? Our daughter in 6th grade has the same except no French or Chemistry.

We got a screen on our bedroom window. I did also take a Benadryl. It also knocks me out. Remembered after I gave our 7 yo Benadryl that he has an adverse reaction to it. Instead of sleepy it makes him hyper. I tried it once when he was 3 and he had the same reaction. Unfortunately I forgot that until he was wide awake at 11 pm. I don't think I'll forget anytime soon.

Christie - So excited for the great news about your girlie on the way.

Kelly - I tried to read back to find out about Chaz. What are they testing for?

Christina - I have to admit that I have enjoyed the quiet mornings. Our second grader is out by 11:30 this week. Next week there will be some days till 12:20. How'd your boys do?

Janet - I forget about Labor Day. Sounds like the home school stuff is a busy time.

Well, I'm heading to bed. School mornings come early (5:50).
emoticon

Hey I missed chat time by the pool. Can we plan another one of those nights before we leave Vegas?

Okay...now this is just not right! I'm never the first one here at 3 in the afternoon mountain time! LOL

Hope all is going well for everyone today and that our little students are having a great time adjusting to school.

My friend had to cancel dinner tonight as she was up late fighting with the hubby and just needs to go home and sleep. They are having a horrible time right now and Satan is attacking from every side. Just breaks my heart and I feel so helpless.

Otherwise...skating was fun until the very end when Isaac decided to throw an attitude of selfishness and disobedience just because he didn't want to be done. I informed him that if that attitude appears again he will miss the next months skating and have to watch from the benches. Ugh!

Done with lunch so thought I'd check in briefly before heading to the treadmill. Skating went well until it was time to go. Isaac chose to become very selfish and disobedient. Carried on with that attitude for almost 2 hours. Ugh! Told him if he does this the next time he will have to sit out for a month and watch everyone else skate.

Janette had to cancel for dinner tonight which has made me quite sad. She's going through a very tough time right now with her husband and that is why she had to cancel...just exhausted from being up fighting him with until about 1 a.m. She has to be up at 4:00 to get ready for work. We'll try again next Thursday. So I guess I'll get the usual done...finances and maybe some groceries purchased.

Okay...off to walk and watch Master Chef.

Good day all, I'm proscratinating frosting and decorating L's birthday cake so I thought I would come check in everyone. I can't put it off for too much longer though, because I have to get us all ready for the open house. DH was going to work through lunch and go with us, but his supervisor is having a heart stress test and his co-worker called in because he had a personal problem. So it will be just me and the boys which should be okay. S's school called a bit ago and they are moving their starting date back a week so S won't be starting his 3 hours a day until the 29th. Maybe, it will be a good thing.

I'm keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi there. Sorry about the sharks! I'm still drying out my shoes. Smell like jellyfish.
No word from the Drs. Hoping thats good. We had a crazy day. I woke up and thought it looked so nice out, we needed to do something fun. A friend and 2 of her 3 kids went with us to an animal park. We ride buses with the roof cut off (Chaz wants one of those to be his school bus) on the safari. The kids hand fed buffalo, deer, elk, creepy huge birds and Liv didn't eat all her crackers this year, Yeah, amazing how they grow up in a years time! She did take a bite,,but all the kids freaked out on her and she spit it out. Tonight we had a fish fry with all the families of the guys fishing trip. Most of them are Amish, so the kids can't speak English yet. My kids don't even seem to notice. Seems to be no language barriers under 5!
Cynd, I'm not sure about the bus, but I think Chaz will LOVE it too, so if that makes his day then I will have to suck it up.
Christina, how quiet was the house?? It's nice he has half days. I still cannot picture Chaz at school all day. So wish there were kid cams to spy on them, wonder if I could convince him I have one.
Janet, I would love the sched flexibility of homeschool. Time, schedules, are NOT my forte. Praying I am able to get him to and from school on time.
I'm whooped too. Need sleep. I'm still stressed over Chaz and part of me is afraid of the phone call from Dr, while part of me wants to get it over with...at this point I just want all to be well and try to make him get more sleep. He was exhausted all day and would lay down, or prop his head up any chance he could, yet he would run to try to catch up to the older boy and just look bewildered. He had trouble processing things I would tell him about the animals and finally asked me to please quit talking--he was too tired to listen. I can see it in his eyes and expressions that he isn't being mean, just acting out of that wiped out mode. I can barely hear him at times because he talks so softly and when I asked him to repeat, he gives me the saddest look and shakes his head like he can't. He doesn't talk to the other kids either, Praying it's not some freaky behavioral thing.

I am so tired! My middle school boys were up at 5:40 this morning. It feels like midnight now at 8:30! I am going to have to go to bed around 10 to keep up.

Boys all had a great first day. Benj loved being at the bigboy school. His favorite part was the teacher read them the gingerbread man story then they chased the gingerbread through the school even through the principals office.

Kelly any news yet from the lab?

Janet enjoy your bible study. I am missing my jr highgirls! we start back next month.

Kelly~I knew you would create chaos in Vegas! LOL Did you see that shark taking after Dorothy? Hope Chaz is doing okay today. Good plan to pray over your children daily!

Christina~Glad the day wasn't as emotional as you were gearing up for. How did everyone's first day of classes go?

Dorothy~How as the golfing?

Cynedra~Good thing you have a quiet day today as the next two will be busy.

We actually started school today after all. I had Isaac work through some math and got Maegann started on her typing program. She loves it! Isaac's brain needed some cobweb removal for addition and subtraction but he did well. Then we went to church to pick up some PE books that a lady left for our co-op. Next we went to Carl's Jr (blech) for lunch as it was nearby and the kids wanted to play on the slides. Figured it was our first day of school celebration. Then we dropped the books off at Amy's and came home. Walking is done and I'm getting ready to head out to make dinner for tonight and get things chopped up for the duck soup tomorrow. Me...I get Chinese tomorrow night as I'm meeting Janette. She's having a very rough time right now so I'm taking extra kleenex. Tonight is Bible study and Maegann has a "back to school bash" that starts 30 minutes earlier.

Hi all, she says as she swims by desperately trying to escape a shark.

Busy week getting ready for school. Today is our only day this week that we don't have to be someplace. Yesterday was Drs appointments for all of my boys (DH included), the day before WIC and parents' meeting for S's VPK school. I still have to finish off all of his paperwork so he can start Monday. Tomorrow, we have registration/open house for L's school, and Friday we have open house/school supply drop off/paper work drop off for S's school. I said today was the only day that we didn't have to be anywhere, but the district was doing a dry run for the bus routes so we went out and met the bus at the appointed time. As of that point, according to the bus driver, we were the only ones that had. Got a half mile run out of the deal (I let the boys ride their bikes) and I ran with them. I'm looking forward to getting a chance to clean my house a bit next week. Both are excited.

Christina - I don't think L would have went to K if I hadn't let him ride the bus. He would have revolted, because he was looking more forward to that than the actual going to school. I did, however, meet at school the first day to make sure he got to class all right. If I had perfectly running vehicles and knew gas prices were going to go down and stay at a decent level, I probably would have driven him most of the year. I knew that neither was likely to happen (I spent five weeks without a vehicle in jan/feb).

Editted to add:
Christie - Congrats on the little girl.

and i should say a lot of other stuff, but I've got to keep my boys from killing each other. (S cried when L didn't get on the bus this morning).

Since SOMEBODY busted the aquarium,( good thing the cabana boys were there to rescue us from the sharks) I am going to spend the day at the world class spa!

I got 3 boys off to middle school! getting Benj ready for his first day of Kindergarten. emoticon I honsetly am not as emotional as I thought I would be. I guess having him in preschool made the difference, and it is only half a day. He goes at 12:15 until 3:25. He wants to ride the bus but I am not ready for that. I will be driving him.

Looks like a busy day at Mandalay Bay!
I'm feeling sad for Chaz. Just went up to his room and was praying over him...just want him to be healthy, happy go lucky kid.
Why do I stay up late everynight??? Nothing really to do, Spark, exercise, dance, or read--but I'm exhausted. Now why aren't I cleaning, of being productive?
Catch up to younz tomorrow in the aquarium. Look Janet, if I hit the glass with this fire extinquisher, all the sharks come over and smile for a picture...maybe if I hit it a little harder...oops, hmmm ever swim with the sharks??? They are tame, right!

Christina~I am fearing fall is going to be upon us too quickly. Seeing signs of it here in the trees and grass as you are seeing cooler pool temps. Seems like you just opened that thing and got it blue!

Christie~Yippee Skippy on PINK!!!!! Love your new page layout to honor PINK!!!!! emoticon emoticon

Kelly~Poor Chaz! Kids are so resilient though, but I will pray that he does not need a repeat session.

My time over at Amy's was very nice. The kids all played together well too. Came home and roasted the poultry we butchered so I have my meat to make duck soup on Thursday for Isaac. I'm meeting my friend Janette for Chinese food that night so it's a good day for a crockpot soup for the family.

I didn't exercise today...just an earlier morning and we didn't get home until 3:30 and I wanted a nap! Figure I'll hit it hard again tomorrow.

Tomorrow I have to meet a gal at church to get some PE books from her for the homeschool group and then bible study in the evening. Should be a good day.

Vegas tomorrow! We're spending the day at Mandalay Bay!

Hi girls. thought I posted a reply...I'm out of it today. Must be too much Las Vegas!
Nerve wracking day with Chaz getting labs drawn (1st missed vein-had to go to Hospital lab to reattempt-success, Praise God!). He had 3 shots. So ended up with bandaids on all 4 limbs. I felt so sorry for him. He looks so pale and forlorn, yet he managed to pull the joke mustard bottle trick on everyone at the hospital. Mom was getting a little nervous since DOH were in house today. Guess she doesn't want the hosp to fail accreditation due to her grandson's goofiness. Finally got them to bed after a LOOONG day.
Pray for all the tests to be done properly so we don't have repeat labs for a long time and for healthy results so I know it's just "growing". Hoping to get him regulated--she mention thyroid as cause of constipation. I've had him X'rayed for obstrustions and everything when he was younger-they never checked his thyroid. I really liked this PA, most thorough exam ever!!

A GIRL!!! YIPPY, PINKALICIOUS!!! We can train her up just right! Get her used to the lights of Vegas!! No the family will be even steven, if it were a boy--you would be outnumbered, don't know how Christina manages--guess that's where the DILs and girlfriends come in handy.lol Off to watch Combat Hospital. Later

Kelly Been praying for yiu and Chaz all day. how long do you have to wait? I would have let him take whatever made him happy. When I take Benj to his pulminary appts I always treat him to a trip to the hospital gift shop.

Christie I am so happy for you! I always wanted a girl!!!

Janet how was your lunch outing? You certainly needed some friend time yiou have been working so hard on the homeschool group.

Cynedra and Lynn your missing! Did we lose you in the Mob experience today? That was absolutely fascinating! I would love to see that for real!

Hi girls. ....and hi to the newest girl, baby 2Labs!!
Christie that is so awesome. Is everyone else pinkalious in your house? , of did the guys want to outvote you?
We spent the day at the new Dr. office and trip to hosp, for labs because he was freaking out and they missed 1st time, so they prescribed lorazapam and take to other lab. I skipped the med (mainly because no pharmacy had it, so that was my clue it was not common) and he did great with the other lab tech that was more confident. Of course I prayed the whole way there! My mom works there so she was able to take Livy, who was quite a trooper through the other nightmare (including shots)--she kept handing him tissues, as he screamed and wailed. Chaz was calmer at hospital lab and was playing joke mustard bottle trick on everyone. still cannot believe I allowed him to take it in with us. So not like me, I got a few "looks" from mom, but even she laughed over how happy he was about it. Good to finally be home and have all that behind us. Now praying there will be no need for further labs and that its something simple to deal with, or all healthy!!
