Ive been on sparkpeople before. and it worked then.. I am back and motivated to do this!!. I want to lose this weight again adn this time make sure my lifestyle is changed and to become a healthier person. On day 3 and so far so good.

I went to my best friend's birthday last night, and totally pigged out on party food, so I'm sticking to my guns today, nothing bad. Why? Because we've got a family dinner tonight - okay, yes it's turkey with lots of healthy trimmings, but it's also got dessert at the end. I want room for that dessert, calorie wise!

I've had 2 steady days in a row for eating, tracking food and exercising and I have exercised everyday since saturday! yay! I have to go do paperwork for a new job tomorrow so hopefully I have to motivation to work out much earlier tomorrow!!!!

It's been a rough week at work, so our managing director brought in donut munchkins for the staff. I had 3. OMG. Didn't blow my calories, but there went my fat count. I had no idea they were that nutritionally deadly.

Made brownies for my roommates and ate two of them myself. Dutifully tracked them in my nutrition. Wasn't as big a disaster as I thought it would be. Just have to watch the rest of my meals carefully.

Today I spent a half hour after work (as a swimming instructor) swimming laps in the pool. It felt great to just swim again, and I forgot how much it helped to sort things out! Swimming here I come :)

Today... I did not let Turkey Day Thursday get me down... and I am completely and totally re-focused and completely back on track. I did not allow myself to get pissed off I ate a little more then normal... I still tracked everything the past three days... and I AM BACK!!!

I've been letting things slide all over the place, and as a result I've gained 5lbs. back! But today I was very good about making conscious eating choices (no mindless snacking) and about logging everything I ate. I was over-range, but at least I'm paying attention again!

The stress isn't bad. I'm feeling pretty capable. But I don't have time for much else. Really need to do the dishes. Also, nutrition and exercise have taken a backseat to getting papers written. I'm not eating badly, or completely avoiding exercise, but its gone from daily, rigorous, attentive exercise and nutrition to just taking the stairs or walking the long way to the train. It'll all be done next week though.

I had great work out last night. I did the eliptical machine for 25 mins and then did some upper body weight lifting exercises. It felt good and I am still feeling great today.

i finally posted pictures of my before/after on my myspace. it seems like a silly thing to be proud of, but lots of my friends and family have been asking about my weight loss, and it's something that for whatever reason i feel self-conscious discussing. i guess because i like to pretend like i wasn't really fat. i don't even like to think about myself at my heaviest weight, let alone look at pictures. but i know that people like to see how i've changed, and i finally blogged about how much weight i've lost and put up the before/afters. so i guess it's good that i've managed to address the subject with my real life peeps.

I tried something new today, something I was convinced I didn't need to try, but after years of half-successes (lose half the weight, gain all or more of it back) I decided to plan my food: for the whole day for the whole week. I think this will be a good thing.

I wore my skinny pants today! I always have a pair of pants that are the next size down and I try them on frequently to judge my progress. Today I wore them out and about! I'll have to pick out a new pair to be the skinny pants.

Today I got up and ate eggs. If you've read any of my blogs, you'd know that I don't like them. I'm trying to learn to love them, though!

I've also stayed on track with all of my food so far today. Someone brought in a chocolate cake at work and I haven't even touched it!

Today I got up and went to the gym I managed to increase my treadmill speed by .5 today and I also walked on a 5% higher incline whoot whoot. Yah I am happy

I'm having some motivation issues. My boyfriend is just not in the place I'm in about my health and physical well-being. And he's staying with me while he looks for a new job and a new place in my VERY tiny apartment. I can't seem to function like I used to with him around. Exercise and work (I work from home, mostly) just don't happen like they should. Anybody got any suggestions? Short of kicking him out the second I get up in the morning (which is looking more and more tempting)?

My everyday isn''t the problem so much as THE WEEKENDS ARE. My girlfriends and I love to go out and have a great time (just as we did in college...where we first packed on the weight!! haha!) and I'll gain water weight and then spend the next few days just losing that...it's so aggravating because alot of the time I'mlosing and gaining back the same 5 pounds...

I moved into my house two years ago. the upstairs bathrom was ugly as sin and painted the most vulgar color. yesterday I just couldn't take it and bought a can of paint. instant makeover. i should be more aggressive about the changes i want to see more often!!!

Well I have just re-joined the spark team and decided this seems like a great supportive group. I am planning a trip to Central America and am hoping to lose 10 pounds. Hi PAMMYB7 - I know working out in the morning is soooo tough! I am always in need of tips as well. I don't typically do my full workout in the morning, but I have been getting up 25 minutes earlier and doing Jillian Michael's the 30-day shred (which has 20 minute installations, definitely check it out if you haven't). This gives me tons of energy for the day, but then I usually do my long workout in the evening 4 days a week. Try setting your coffee pot the night before so you can smell it when you wake up and getting to be a little earlier. Its always easier in the summer too :-) Have a great weekend!

I've been pretty bummed the past 2 days because I've had a sore throat/fever and they were my "crunch" days... because today was my 1 month weigh in... but i stepped on the scale this morning and it's 203.5!! :) I started out at 215 last month yay I'm excited and happy for that. Now it's time to get better and start workin out again!

Hey I'm new here but I thought I'd just jump in!! lol Today I went to the gym at 5:30am and it felt amazing...The rest of the day was pretty crappy with some bad news and stressful life situations but it was a day and I'll take it!! lol Talk to you all soon!!

Today I went into the room that I planned to make a workout/closet room and I cleaned it and actually turned into a workout/closet room. Now I have no excuse not to exercise. :)

Today was an alright day, i did follow my meal plan to a T... I just feel alittle down for some reason, not much like myself today... Ol'well tomorrow is a new beauiful day.. And tomorrow is going to be better than the last.!!!

I pulled a bunch of my old cute black dress pants out of my closet the other day just to see if I could fit back into any of them and I was able to fit in 3 pairs of my black dress pants and my red and brown plaid pants. I was soooo happy I couldn't believe it :)

it wasn't today, but the other day i found one of my high school shirts ~ an xl ~ and i actually got it to fit, was a wee bit snug, but it fit. normally i have to wear 3x for room to move, and 2x fits normally. but i was so psyched to fit into a highschool shirt. next goal the "naughty school girl skirt"...something cute that i never thought i could pull off.

I accidentally grabbed a pair of jeans from my closet that used to be too small and almost put them back- but I tried them on and found that they fit!! In fact- they're a little too big!

something positive is i have been keeping on my diet and exercising everyday. i feel great. i feel thinner than usual and i am glad to be here with everyone. and i finally weighed myself tonight at the gym and i lost 3lbs! i am so happy!! emoticon cant wait to lose more.

I logged onto Spark today. I havent been on since last year in october and havent kept track of stuff since maybe AUgust.
I really want to loss a few more pounds before graduation in May and for the summer ofcourse. The good news is I have stayed steady at 175lbs. I haven't gained, and I'm still a size 14 in pants. I don't know when I'm squeezing in time for the gym but I'm going to force down those fruits and veggies again much more often.
Other good news: I am moving into a 3bdrm house in March with my boyfriend--highly anticipating it! Good bye 1bdrm apartment! Hello, house work!

I put on a pair of sweats that are normally a little tight in the upper thigh and hip area and they're feeling a little baggy.

I'm also exhausted but in a 'I've worked out everyday and worked my hardest at this' kind of way.

because i was healthy yesterday, i could feel my abs and stomach slightly smaller and less bloated this morning! :)

Hey all! I'm a 23-year-old student teacher and by fall I hope to be a full time English teacher! I am going to be licensed 6-12 Language Arts in Kansas and I'm super pumped!

I have noticed that my legs are really slimming down and my belly has gotten a little smaller. This is all mainly from jogging and trying not to eat so much junk. Yhea!

Today I'm going to work on packing and getting everything together for my trip to Florida in 10 days and then to move out to Florida a week after I get back. LOL.

I have alot going on in my life right now but still managed to get another 3 pounds off this week. YEA!!!!!! Down to 168 pounds now.

Between my cousin's memorial today (www.daledoe.com) and packing and getting ready to move I feel like I don't have time to breath. Oh and let's don't forget to add in exercising and spending time with everyone before I leave.

at work we have these huge windows all over the building, and while i'm running movies i can't help but to look at my full profile reflection in the windows...usually i hate doing it and regret it because i think i look sooo fat, but tonight, i saw a difference in my belly and i was really happy about that, it actually looked flatter!

Hey everyone! I just want to let you all know that you are doing amazing!!! welcome to all the new sparkers, and the not so new sparkers that i haven't introduced myself to yet! I'm looking to making some changes around here in the next few days... so be on the look out.

today, i have my full motivation back!!! i have continued losing weight even though i haven't been as active on SP as i would have liked, but it's time to start over and hold myself accountable for everything!!!

for those of you that know me, my weight loss journey started by starving myself and keeping under 300 calories a day. insane, right? well... after a few months on SP, i went right back to starving myself silly. i'm done. now, i'm going to eat right, work out and stay healthy!

i'm so thankful for my renewed motivation to do this the right way!!!

I just joined 2 days ago, I am off to a great start and for the first time in my life I feel motivated to get the weight off and keep it off. Also I realized today (as I have almost every day since I got married) that I am a very lucky to have a wonderful supportive man in my life)
