I agree Biz, those are the best things to be grateful for. I'm also grateful for having a wonderful 4 day weekend, vacation is coming up in 3 weeks, gorgeous weather, went horseback riding saturday for 90 minutes, helped feed and water the horses, saddle and bridle and unsaddle and unbridle. And brushed my horse too. It was wonderful. kim

a beautiful day here too! Work changed our overtime this weekend from mandatory to voluntary so I think I'm only going to work Friday and maybe Sunday and take Saturday off for the 5K. not sure yet.
I walked at the park today 1.5 miles and yesterday, 2.5 miles. There are only 3 baby geese left out of 8. Sad! kim

I walked a mile yesterday, 3 today. definitely took it easy, not much running at all.
We are getting heavy winds and some sprinkles. A tree fell down across our driveway but our landlord was very quick to come out with his truck and chainsaw and had it all cleaned up within a half hour.
It's nice to be able to stay home and hibernate today. I got my walk in early and so glad I did.

My positives:
I decided not to work OT this weekend or go to camp. I probably should have worked Sunday for the double time but since its Mother's Day, I decided not to.
I will probably do more OT next weekend. It is nice to be able to choose to do it or not to do it.
I took a walk at the park, 2 miles, today. There were lots of baby Canadian geese there and I got to sit and watch them for a long time. They were so cute, all yellow and fuzzy. I also saw some really big trout. It was a nice day. Sunny and 80. kim

I just got done with my chiropractor appt and I feel so much better. He confirmed what I already knew, that my upper back and neck were very tight and my upper spine needed adjusted. I'm going to see him every Monday for awhile. He throws a little bit of a massage in there too just to loosen things up. That alone is worth the drive.
We may be going to camp this weekend or I may work. They canceled the mandatory OT and said anyone can work any or all 3 days (Friday, Sat and Sunday) but it is strictly voluntary. If we don't go to camp I may volunteer for Saturday and Sunday. We'll see. I'm leaning towards going to camp just because I haven't been there since New Year's day. I can also ask the lady who has Tyler if I can take him up there. I know he would love it. It would bring back fond memories for both of us. kim

I had a good time this weekend besides having to work all weekend. We had a lot of laughs at work. And a nice pot luck lunch today. I did well on the food and water.
My pp's are: I weighed 164 this morning and I got my Zumba DVD's in the mail yesterday.
It's raining today so I'm watering my house plants by putting them outside, I have a chiropractor appointment tomorrow. I really could use me more than once a week. kim

I'll have to dig hard for a positive as I have to work all weekend, Friday, Sat and Sunday and right thru the week and will continue for the next 4 weeks at least with the occasional Sunday off.
the positive is the paychecks will be nice and I got to do my favorite job today. It was cold and cloudy here but the sun peeked thru occasionally so it wasn't all bad.
I have a cold too which sucks. but I went to the Goodwill after work and got 3 wreaths, a deer picture and a light up snowman all for $4.80. I love to have different wreaths and I put them up everywhere, inside and outside. I have 3 doors, and I put 2 on my front porch, one on my fence, and 3 indoors.
I have to be careful though with the ones I put outside. Not even thinking over Christmas I put up a Christmas wreath with fake holly berries and the birds literally ate all the paint off the berries before I realized that they would be tempted to eat them. I felt bad.
One of the ones I got today has different fruits and nuts all over it. I don't dare put that one outside or it will be bare. Fake or not. the nuts look real, I'll have to investigate it. LOL, kim

80's here and sunny too, supposed to last until Tuesday at least.
Hubby and I just got a lot of yardwork done. Raked up leaves and sticks and burned them. Took us hours, Really good workout. Lots of water too.
He's bringing home fish for supper tonight even though I have plenty here. It's always nice not to have to cook. kim

t's Sunny, It's Sunday, I did a lot of exercise yesterday, walking, running, abs and weights with the ball. I got all my water and veggies in, stayed on track with food, walked Tyler and his new owner Joanne joined us even though she is 85. She enjoyed getting out to the park and it made me feel good even though we had to walk really slow. (Not because of her, because Tyler is all stiffened up from lack of exercise and he's 11 so we had to walk slow for him).
Hubby made me breakfast again. kim

I'm starting today on the first day of spring. I have been so lazy so I figure this is a good day for new beginnings. I'm going to try to do some type of exercise consistently for a year. I have a new journal and I'm ready.
I just got back from my 3 mile walk/run. Off to a good start. later today I'm going down to visit our beagle at his new home and hopefully take him for a walk too. I haven't seen him for 6 weeks.
It's gorgeous, sunny, supposed to get to 70+ today.
I'm in a gardening mood but I haven't bought anything yet except a flower pot to re-pot one of my house plants. kim

Positives for today: 1. My husband finally hung up my deer plates in the computer room right above the computer so I can see them every day.

1. Well its raining here so no outside workout. 2. I did a short 20 min ab workout this morning and 3. decorated my house for Easter and St Patrick's day. It was fun. 4. It was warm and sunny, I went to the park and walked a mile, I had a good day at work doing my favorite job, It's thursday which is my friday since I work a 4 day work week. It's going to be a great weekend! kim

had a good day at work, another sunny warm day, saw 22 deer in a pasture near my house. So pretty, I love to watch them.

I might pick up trash along the whole 3 miles. There is quite a lot and I hate seeing it.

My 5 things that I am grateful for today:
1. Pilots that are able to fly passengers safelet to and from their destinations.
2. A loving grandson and daughter that throughly enjoyed me surprising them.
3. The friends that gave my daughter a wonderful and fun Baby Shower.
4. A loving husband that waited at home while I traveled and then picked my up at the airport.
5. A comfy bed and home to return to.

Anyway the 5 things I am grateful for today are:
one more day of work before a 3 day weekend,

I'm shopping for groceries and stuff I've put off buying because I didn't have the money

17 yr old emptied the dishwasher!
17 yr old came home by 8:00 pm.
