Well, back home now. The doctors decided the only thing they could do was to double my meds. Hope that works.

SMART Goals for June 3-9

Specific: 1st week: Lose 1 pound
12 weeks: Lose 12 pounds

Measurable: Scale 288.2 pounds for the start for first week weight 287.2 pounds
for 12 weeks weight 276.2 pounds
Measuring Tape: Lose 3 inches for the 12 weeks.

Attainable: Well, we'll see. I have lost 30 pounds before my stroke so I know weight loss is attainable, I just have to work at it.

Relevant: I would like to see my blood sugar go down which would be healthy, and I would like to feel healthier more able to "do" things which would be good in the long run for a happier less painful life.

I am not going to over-exceed what I think is possible because then if I have a setback I'll just quit. I'd rather have an expectation that I can actually achieve something.

I can do this by going back to following an actual program and measuring my portions and by doing some exercising.

Specific My Goal is to hit 299.0 and lose 25.6 pounds

Measurable The SCALE Weekly

Attainable 2.2 pounds a week is a major push that I have not achieved in years, but I have and believe I can.

Relevant YES Cardiologist says to lose it and my once lumbar section is screaming when I stand.

Time Bound 12 weeks LoL Challenge

SMART GOALS for this CHALLENGE:

Specific: 16 pound weight loss

Measurable: Scale / weekly weigh-in Sunday mornings
Jully 8th half way mark 8 pounds lost.

Attainable: YES, 1 to 1.3333 pounds per week = 16 pounds in 12 weeks

Relevant: Yes, my doctor supports and encourages me to continue to lose 1 - 2 pounds/week until I reach a healthy BMI

Time bound: 12 week LoL Challenge

Calorie Range: 1400 - 1700
Fitness 180 - 240 minutes daily
of my Fitness exercise half will be ST 90 - 120 minutes
LONG TERM GOAL is to focus on my CORE STRENGTH
Water minimum 8 glasses per day
Freggies 5 -8 day
Fiber 35+ grams daily
Protein 60 grams per day

Happy the 3rd is finally here !

Challenge goals and how-to:

Specific: My goal is to lose 25-30 pounds during the 12 week challenge.
This would take 2-2.5 pounds per week.
I stated a divided goal so I won't stress as much.

Measureable: Scale, measurements, exercise, tracking

Attainable: I feel it is attainable/reasonable.

Relevant: I believe it is relevant because of my health conditions,
and it is my doctor's goal for me. He said he would be happy if I
got under 200. That is my first major goal.

Time bound: My goal is to lose this amount in 12 weeks.

My plans on how to reach this goal:
1. Take my measurements (done Jun 2.) once per month
2. Weigh-in on Sunday and Wed upon awakening weekly
3. Calorie Range 1200-1550
4. Exercise M-F each week
5. Walk to a Leslie Sansone 1 mi. and 5 min body toning dvd MWF
6. Yoga 15 min am M-F
7. Possibly Sweating to the Oldies, 2x wk. Tu & Th or recumbent
8. ST MWF 10 @ Ball crunches wall pushups, lying hamstring curl
Tu & Th 10 @ Shoulder raises, bicep curl, barbell side slide
9. Drink 48-64 oz water per day
10. Smoothie and Belvita biscuit breakfast for freggies and fiber
11. Less than 100 net carbs daily
12 Green tea and lemon in the morning for liver cleansing
13. Take my daily meds
14. Sleep hours 12am-10am daily
15. Work SparkCoach, 2 calendar challenges, 1 Spark challenge daily
16. Walk to end of block and back daily, try to increase distance weekly
17. Practice breathing exercises daily for stress relief
18. Monitor blood sugar and insulin
19. Blog at least 2 x weekly
20. Review and re-commit goals daily
21. Do rebounder for 1 min. per day at least 1 week
22. Make as many Sparkpoints that I can daily

Re-evaluate process weekly to fine tune

MY GOAL THIS CHALLENGE IS TO LOSE 15 POUNDS!!

Starting Weight 203.4: ck. point July 8th 196; ending weight 188.4 emoticon

How am I going to do this?
Calorie intake -- 1200-1600
Fitness 250-400 minutes weekly
Drink minimum 8 glasses of water per day
eat 5-10 freegies a day!!

I've set a goal of keeping MS. PACMAN locked up! She eats everything in site and she's a great escape artist. I'd like her never to get out but that's not working! So I am trying not to go over my calories more than 2 times a week. Stay in my range 5 days out of 7. This might sound childish but starting June 3 I will put a star on my calendar every day MS. PACMAN stays locked up.. Every 4 weeks that she doesn't get out more than 8 times I will treat myself to a manicure. If she gets out 4 times or less I'll get a pedicure. And if I do really awesome and she gets out less that 2 times for the whole 4 weeks I get a mani/pedi!!

July 8th is our half way point! I will have lost 7.5 lbs!

That's my SMART GOALS!!
